Up for sale is my 1979 MGB Roadster that I have had for almost 35 years. It was purchased in 1982 with only 4,000 miles and has been leisurely used over the years with currently only 57,888 miles (Dial has never flipped these are original and actual). The car is mostly still stock and original with the original white paint. I took videos of the car being driven and also of the car itself. I tried to get as many photos and videos of all imperfections as possible so please look carefully. Due to someone may want to buy this car without being able to see it I tried to show all the flaws not hide them. 2 Videos at bottom of this description. Please view! The Good: Very clean well cared for car.Low miles with one owner for last 35 yearsIt is very mechanically sound, runs cool, shifts smooth and handles corners great Gauges all work and light upHorn, running lights, blinkers, headlights & break lights all workFront windshield recently replaced No chips or cracks on any of the glassWindows roll up and down easily and are in good conditionWindshield wipers work with newer wiper bladesOriginal car jack in trunk Original Tonneau Cover in excellent condition Original Top Boot in excellent condition The original 8 track radio by British Leyland Motors, Inc. M#BLM-10504 comes with car if desired. It was taken out of car many years ago but I still have it and will give with car if buyer desires it. It worked when it was taken out about 25 years ago and I will try and get it tested to be sure if desired. The black carpet is newer and is in excellent conditionNewer upholstery Has back jump seat with seat belt New tires and new spare installed from Discount Tire on 10/07/2016Great sound system installed with amp and two 10" subwoofersOriginal white paint jobNo rust under car! The Bad: Front passenger CV Boot is torn and will eventually need to be replacedI do have the original soft top frame but unfortunately the original soft top is in too poor of condition to be used (replacement soft-tops are readily available on eBay for under $250 or from Moss Motors for $319 if you desire the top)This is more good then bad but the paint job is the original white and shows typical dings, minor dents, scratches, nicks, chips and other imperfections typical with age and the fact it has never been repainted. Hood has some small dings on it. Hard to get in photos but I did the best I could and if your concerned I can take more in different lightsPassenger side mirror is missing the mirror/glass and thus not on car. Holder comes with car. Just needs new mirror/glass. It is not on car in photos but I do show photo of it. Has the screw to attach.Driver side glass (small corner piece) does not lock properlyOne of the rims is missing its beauty ring. You can remove the other 3 beauty rings so rims all look the same or you could easily find a replacement beauty ring if desired. No keys for the trunk, doors or glove box. Trunk has a dent where hook/stopper meets the trunk. This happened about 28 years ago when my uncle tried to slam the trunk shut without unlocking the release button. I do have a replacement trunk that will come with car if buyer desiresLeather gear shift cover has rip in it at bottom. Not very noticiable but is there - see pic Dash has hole for choke but is missing cap. It did not have a choke only a cap that covered the hole.Original cigarette lighter blows fuse but using a car charger does not so I am assuming it's the lighter that has the issue. Original lighter does come with car.Blinker & brights switch is a bit loose but does workFront speakers are missing beauty rings/coversBack seat has 2 very small tears. One on seat and one on backrest. Tears are glued shut with upholstery glue and not very noticiable I have really tried via photos and videos and in this list to show all the flaws and imperfections on this car and not hide anything from a potential buyer. If you want to see something you can't make out or have any questions at all please shoot me a message and I will re-video or photograph it close up for you. If you want to see the gauges while going faster than I went in the video just let me know and I will take it out and go on a higher speed road. Potential buyers are welcome and encouraged to come and test drive car and do a full inspection. Please buy this car with confidence for this car has a special place in my heart and I am selling due to it's just not practical for me to keep just to keep especially when I really need the room in my garage for my daily driver that is black and sits out in the Phoenix sun because this MG is kept inside :)

> 1969 MGC Roadster!!! Here is a beautiful 1969 MGC GT that has had tens of thousands of dollars poured into it and it truly shows. This car is a great restored example of the relatively rare MGC Roadster. This car is 100% rust free car that was originally sold new in California!!! T The cars pans are incredibly rust free and the car looks to be accident free as well. This car has had a very nice restoration and has been driven and enjoyed, this is a GREAT driving car. This car according to the previous owners has only traveled 53k miles since new! The car was throughly gone throught featuring a bare metal paint job, new interior, rebuilt carbs, brakes, steering wheel, hydrolics etc... This car is in excellent running condition and is 100% turn key ready. The engine fires right up and the car has PLENTY of power coming from the large Austin 2912cc straight 6. This is a very smooth running engine with very crisp throttle response. The cars transmission shifts beautifully and the car is a blast to drive. The steering is nice and tight and the cars power brakes work very well. The body on this car is absolutely laser straight and the doors line up great. The cars underside is rust free, original and in excellent condition. One look under the hood, and you can see that this car has been lovingly cared for and given lots attention to detail. These cars are great cars to drive and enjoy either daily or just for fun on the weekends. They are beautiful to look at, rare to see (about 4400 built world wide over 3 years), easy and even fun to maintain due to there simplicity. This is a turn key MGC that is ready to be driven and enjoyed. This is a beautiful car that will surely make its new owner very happy! Why these cars are not as valuable or more valuable than a Austin Healey 3000 is beyond me. These cars have the same great engine, but C is built on a unibody which just rides and handles worlds better that a Healey 3000. The two don't even compare. There is so much more room, a significantly better ride and far fewer produced. One day the market will wake up to these great cars. As a side note, I have been looking for an MGC roadster for 10 years but struggled to find one that passed the muster. I will regret selling this truly great car! This is a buy it now or best offer listing. This car is availble for purchase at anytime. There is no advantage to waiting for the end of the listing to purchase the car. In fact, I would prefer a quick sale at a lower price than waiting for more money at the end of the listing. Please feel free to call and ask questions and make an offer! Call Justin at 602-339-2416 Click to enlarge Exterior: This beautiful MGC Roadster was recently the subject of a bare metal restoration and as you can see from the photos, it looks great. The body on the car is laser straight. All of the doors line up beautifully. The chrome bumpers on the car are like new and in excellent condition. Everything on the car lines up nicely and even the grill fits excellent. All of the lights and lenses on the car are in excellent condition as well. This car is 100% rust free and is free of floor patches etc... The car also appears to be accident free as well. The car is sitting on a beautiful new set of 15 inch chrome wheels and really complete the look of this beautiful british sports car. The car is absolutely stunning in its rare shade of blue and the car only suffers from minor blemishes. Much of the chrome is original and showing very well for its age. The bumpers are in beautiful condition and if you look at the rear bumper you will see an emblem from when it was in california! What a great little touch! The doors open and shut beautifully on the car as do the hood and trunk. The whole car just screams quality with the high level of detailing. The previous owner truly did a great job with this car. The beautiful grey top is in like new condition showing only very minor wear and absolutely no rips or tears. The top frame was even restored and is finished beautifully and opperates perfectly! Overall the exterior of the car is in excellent conditon! Click to enlarge Interior: The interior of this MGC is in excellent condition and virtually like new! The interior was recently reupholstered featuring gray seats and looks great. The dash is very simple and straight forward with beautiful chrome lined Smiths gauges. All of the gauges are in excellent condition and are free from wondering and excessive bouncing. The area behind the seats was also carpeted making for a very nicely upholstered trunk compartment and also contains a removable speaker box. The modern stereo is nice because unlike most classic, you actually want to drive this car. The seats are so comfortable, the ride is very nice, the engine is powerful and sounds great, this is just a car that you look forward to driving! The steering wheel is a gorgeous motolita steering wheel which feels excellent in your hands and the factory steering wheel is included as well. All of the gauges and lights work. The dash is free of cracks etc... The trunk of the car has been carpeted and the car even comes with a 5th chrome wire wheel with matching michelin tire and factory jack!!! Overall, I would say that the interior is in excellent shape!!! Click to enlarge Engine: The 2912cc straight 6 engine starts up and runs like a top!!! One twist of the key is all it takes to start this car. The carbs have been rebuilt and tuned to perfection!!! The engine fires right up and blowns no smoke on start up or while driving. The car has great compression across all cylinders. This is by far the best sounding model that ever came off the Abingdon production line. The straight six really gives the MG the power and the sound on par with the other great sports cars of the time. The engine also has very strong oil pressure. The engine is fed by two SU carbs and really moves the car along quite well. This MGC runs nice and cool even in Arizonas sweltering heat. The engine bay is virtually clean enough to eat off of. The car was the subject of a bare metal engine out paint job and it was done by true professionals. The results are a show worthy engine bay. The level of detail in the engine bay speaks volumes to the quality of the car. The transmission shifts through all of the gears with ease and the clutch operates smoothingly as well!!! The shift linkage really has a postive feel to the gear change. The car rides, steers and stops GREAT! The car tracks beautifully down the road and the disc brakes are strong and stop this car with ease. Both the clutch and master cylinders were rebuilt at the time of restoration giving both great braking feel and clutch feel. The water pump and radiator were replaced as well. The car rides on a great looking set of original chrome wire wheels. This really is a great driving MGC that can be driven daily or just for fun on the weekends. The car is great fun to drive. Everything works, from the windshield wipers and all of the lights. These are great cars because they are very reliable and any part you might need is readily available and very inexpensive. This car however, shouldn't need anything for sometime! This car is absoultely turn key ready to enjoy! I can not express enough how nicely this car drives down the road and how much fun it is to drive! You will not be dissappointed! Click to enlarge This is a great looking 1969 MGC and it is absolutely beautiful and turn key. This beautiful British Sports car can be purchased for thousands of dollars less than what it took to build. These are truly rare british sports cars and are great fun to drive and will compliment anyones garage. Click to enlarge Exterior: This MGA Roadster looks great with its beautiful Glacier Blue, bright chrome, and beautiful sweeping lines. As you can see from the detailed photos the car looks great. The Glacier Blue paint looks stunning on the swooping coachwork of the MGA. The wire wheels really give the car that classic 50s roadster look. Every piece of chrome was replated or replaced at the time or restoration and looks very nice and showing some minor wear since. This car has been driven and enjoyed at car shows and local british car events. The car has also been driven on some British car fun runs and there is a rock chip hear or there but they have been touched up with touch up paint. This car car was painted several years ago and is holding up well. This car comes with a beautiful Black top that is in excellent condition. This car gets thumbs up as you drive down the road and plenty of attention at the gas pump. Click to enlarge Interior: The interior of this classic MG is in excellent condition and looks beautiful. The interior was reupholstered at the time of restoration in leather and look and feel great. The seat is leather and feels VERY soft. It is absolutely gorgeous in person. The carpet is in excellent shape as well and is free of stains etc... The door panels are in great shape as well and the car does come with side curtain that I forgot to picture. The side curtains are in excellent condition. The dashboard is in excellent nice shape and looks great with its Glacier Blue dash with contrasting chrome rings surrounding the beautiful gauges. The beautiful banjo steering wheel is in excellent shape and perfectly compliments the car. All of the gauges are in great working order as are the wipers!!! Overall the interior of this car is beautiful. Click to enlarge Engine: The 1500cc 4 cylinder fires right up and runs like a top. This A has had a complete engine rebuild and runs smoothly and beautifully. The engine starts first time every time and the engine does not blow any smoke! For those interested, the engine was rebuilt to a performance build featuring higher compression pistons. I have owned many MGAs and this is by far the strongest engine of any MGA I have owned. It pulls almost as if there was a B engine in it. It is pretty impressive. The carbs have been recently tuned and as a result the car idles great and the engine is very responsive. The engine bay is finished very nicely. You can tell this car was stripped down to the frame and rebuilt from the ground up. The engine has great oil pressure and runs nice and cool even in Arizona's hot climate. The 4 cylinder exhales through a great sounding exhaust system that gives this MG that classic British sports car sound. The transmission was completely rebuilt and shifts very nicely. The steering is nice and tight. The cars brakes stop the car incredibly well and the car stops straight and stops with ease. The car is a joy to motor around town in and gets tons of attention everywhere you go. Take the time to look at the pictures towards the end of the ad to see the underside of the car. This is a great car to waste the weekend away in and is 100% turn key. Click to enlarge Clean MGAs are getting harder and harder to find these days and affordable cars you aren't scared to drive are even more difficult to come across. This MG is sure to make its new owner happy. These classic affordable British sports cars are getting more and more collectible. C This gorgeous MGB GT features one of the nicest restorations I have seen on an MG with a no expense spared restoration. The previous owner did an absolutely amazing job with the restoration of this car. He is an engineer who was building the car for himself and really went the extra mile on the car. Take a look at all the photos and you will see a beautiful bare metal paint job, a stunning interior featuring beautiful wood paneling a modern radio and even heated seats. Look into the engine bay and you will see all new wiring and stainless hardware. This MGB has had a no expense restoration with upgrades along the such as a fully rebuilt engine including pistons and bearings and a brand new aluminum cylinder head, fully powder coated suspension with urethane bushings, custom stereo and an absolutely beautiful paint job on an beautiful rust free body!!! The MG has been gone through from tip to tale and from top to bottom with every single component being replaced, restored or upgraded. According to the previous owner there was almost nothing left untouched. One look at this car and you will realize that this MG is not like many other MGB GTs in the world. This is something special and the car just has that great crisp look to it, with its beautiful paint job, great stance, gorgeous interior and tons of tasteful upgrades. Tens of thousands of dollars has been put into this car and hundreds of hours. To replicate this car would cost at least double the asking price. The car has been driven since completion and the car drives excellent and is very reliable. This is a rust free classic MG and it is even nicer in person than it is in the pictures. This car has been very well cared for and it shows. This is a great collectible classic that is surely to appreciate in value over the next several years!!! Click to enlarge Exterior: This MGB GT looks fantastic in its red paint job with beautifully polished wheels and gorgeous chrome. The paint job on this car was completed to a high standard and looks excellent. The car was completely disassembled, hood, trunk, doors, glass, trim etc.. was all removed, taken down to bare metal and painted separately. Even the bottom side of the body car was stripped down and repainted as well. Even the bottom side of the floor pans were painted exterior color. This was an incredibly rust free car and the floors have no patches and ll of the jacking points and sills on the car are completely unmolested and rust free The body is LASER straight and looks beautiful. All of the rubber seals were replaced after the car was painted and are all in great condition. Many many many man hours were spend getting the doors and panels perfectly aligned and working with amazing precision. The paint job on this car alone exceeds the cost of many classic MGs. This is a car that you could bring to a local car show and show it with pride, or you could go on great weekend drives in. Overall the exterior is in excellent shape showing minor use since restoration with only a few touched up areas. Click to enlarge Interior: The classic tan interior of this MG is BETTER than new and in excellent condition. The front and rear seats are like new and in excellent shape featuring correct cloth upholstery. One very nice addition to the seats is the fact that the car has HEATED SEATS!! The seats are free of stains, rips and tears. When the seats were reupholstered all of the foam was replaced as well. The carpet is new and in excellent shape. The dash is in perfect condition as it was a brand new fresh dash and is free of cracks etc... In-fact all of the dash pieces have been replaced and are brand new. Every courtesy light, every gauge etc... are all in great working order. A wood steering wheel and wood paneling has been added to the car, and while typically I am not a fan of these... it looks stunning on this car and the overall effect of the added wood and chrome to the interior gives the interior a much more upscale look than the standard B. It really reminds me of a Jag or Healey! There is a Ipod hookup in the center console and there is a great sounding stereo installed that is a modern radio made to look a bit retro so it doesn't stand out in the cabin. This really is the ultimate MGB GT. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and is a great place to waste the weekend away. This really is the ultimate MGB GT. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and is a great place to waste the weekend away. The 1800cc 4 cylinder fires right up and runs like a top. This engine has been completely rebuilt and detailed to a showroom like finish. The engine runs beautifully. It always starts and runs excellent just like a modern car. This engine has had lots of money poured and into it and features an upgraded aluminum cylinder head. The car runs GREAT!!! The engine bay was sandblasted and refinished to a high standard and is truly show quality. The cars transmission shifts beautifully with no grinding between the gears and the clutch and flywheel was replaced as part of the restoration. In fact, practically every single system of the car was rebuilt or replaced. The exhaust is all new, new carb, all new suspension refinished both cosmetically and mechanically, all the hydraulics were replaced, all new brakes, new brake lines... I mean from tip to tale not a single thing was over looked. The engine sounds great with its exhaust exiting under the rear valance. The car runs nice and cool even in Arizona's hot and dry climate. The car steers beautifully with fully rebuilt suspension and the car tracks perfectly down the road. The bottom side of this B is as well finished as the top side. I can not stress enough at how every inch of this car has been gone through and virtually every component rebuilt or replaced. This car would cost at least twice as much to duplicate! This Bis truly turn key and ready for its next owner!!! Click to enlarge Classic British Sports car are getting more and more desireable and collectable.
