It drives smoothly, comfortably, and steadily. When you switch between this car and another, you immediately recognize the quality and luxury of the Grand Marquis. It has been a joy to own, and it will make its new owner happy and proud. I traded down in size to increase my fuel efficiency and because the driveway of my new home is just too small for this car. If my circumstances were a little different, I would keep this car for another ten years or so. There is some light body wear (e.g. the front bumper is dented) and tiny spots of rust. • Additional features and details available upon request. Recent Repairs: • Upper and lower ball joints on both sides (09/2014) • Sway bar (03/2016) • Tie rods (03/2016) • Electronic Control Module (09/2015) • New battery (09/2015) • Rear Brakes (02/2016) • Electronic Automatic Temperature Control Unit (i.e. the cabin heating system) (??/2012) • Regular Oil Changes Notes: • Needs front-end alignment • The motor is sometimes chuggy or hesitant. Per Midas auto repair facility, this is due to an Exhaust Gas Reburn/Recirculation (EGR) valve. The car runs fine otherwise. However, if the new owner wants to make this modest repair, the part is estimated to be about $45 (Autozone link available upon request). • The air bag light is on. I was assured by Pfeiffer Lincoln that this is a false reading. It came on after the car's Electronic Control Module was replaced last September. • The radio clock no longer works. Again, this happened after the car's Electronic Control Module was replaced last September. • The in-mirror electronic compass flickers. • Some of the paneling under the steering column came off. The panel is in the trunk. I never bothered to reattach it because it's not visible.

This car was purchased by my father who only put 7,600 miles on it before he passed away and I am the second owner.It is in very good condition--has no dents or scratches.It does have a small tear in the leather on the driver's seat by the seat belt.It is the Ultimate Edition model --dark blue w/light grey leather and has 43,500 original miles.Most are highway--5 or 6 trips from Alpena to Naples,Fla. and considerable trips to Detroit and Traverse City.Car gets 15-22 mpg/city and around 30mpg highway.I recently replaced brakes and rotors and installed new tires(65,000 mile rated).Apparently I don't drive the car enough and the brakes rusted and tires dry rotted.I also installed new rear shock-- the air bags dry rotted! 2004 MERCURY GRAND MARQUIS LS PREMIUM, 4.6L V8, Automatic with Tan leather. Former Grandpa's car, non smoker, babied and pampered, waxed twice a year, always stored in garage, not driven in bad weather - when it stormed, grandpa stayed home. Clear carfax, original paint, no accidents. Rare color combo - Black with Tan Leather. This car has not been detailed as this is the way it was traded in! Runs and drives 100% with no issues. This Summer, complete A/C system was serviced and it has a new A/C pump. Has an aftermarket stereo and one key/remote. The owners eyesight got bad and he gave the car to his son. His son put 46K highway miles on it and installed an aftermarket stereo. It has power windows/locks/mirrors, cruise control, a/c, tilt, rear defroster, CD, aluminum wheels, leather wrapped steering wheel, etc. Don't snooze on this one. A lot of car for not a lot of money! Other than some minor defects, this car is in great shape. A recent tune up revealed that one of the fuel injectors needs replaced. The previous owner took good care of the vehicle before he sold it. We bought it because we were short one vehicle, and then ended up getting something newer for my wife. Sold as is, where is. Buyer assumes all responsibility for vehicle pick up.
