This is a rare 1971 production rare small euro bumper which are very desirable. These car are increasing in value and this is the first year of this body style R107. Classic Beauty Roadster with white hubcaps and whitewalls. Definitely a head turner. I bought this car sometime back from a older lady who's husband passed away and the car hasn't been on the road since 2007, was garaged kept, brand new tires all around classic whitewalls. I was going to restore this, but I am moving out of state and have too many cars to ship out. I also have (2) 190e 2.3 16L Cosworth which I have acquired and would be willing to sell one. This car has been maintained quite well, as you can see the engine bay immaculate clean and the interior looks like in pristine no rips or tears on the leather seats, all gauges are working properly, all lights are working, turn signals, hazard flashers, new tires all around the dash is cracked which is a common issues in these cars. The car starts like a charm and drives well and very powerful. No lights check engine or issues. Does need a some TLC. Issues which are known which will need addressing: Mechanical, electrical, cosmetic. 1)Windshield wipers probably fuse blown 2)Hardtop gets condensation water seeps through probably needs seals 3)Paint needs attention last owner painted it white from originally color green. Has a binder with pictures showing work performed and servicing. 4)Some rusting and bubbling. 1984 Mercedes SL 380 Color code is 172 Anthracite Grey (anthrazitgrau) Metallic, but it looks green to me. The analog clock and thermometer work perfectly! The car was just painted to remove some prior oxidation, and scratches were also touched up. The car will also come with touch up paint. The hood and trunk exterior look excellent on top with the new paint. There are some nicks and scratches here and there. This is after all a 31 year old car. Factory Hard Top looks good. It also has some minor scratches here and there. There are some minor rust spots in common places on the SL's, like behind the headlights, and near the wheels which I've noted in pictures. I don't want anyone to think that this is a concourse car, but it appears to have been well maintained throughout the years. I've had another SL prior to this one, and this one really runs and drives well. It starts right up. Idles extremely well, and runs very quiet like an 80's Mercedes SL should! Recent oil change. Runs very well. The exhaust was done pretty recently according to the last owner who had it for 5 years. Prior to that I was told it was owned by the Serbian Embassy in Washington, DC Brakes and tires are good Interior looks very good. It has blue MBtex synthetic leather with grey accents. Mercedes Benz floor mats. Aftermarket Radio works well and the automatic antenna works well also. Title is clear and ready for you to license it. This is a beautiful 2004 Mercedes SL500 with only 69,728 Miles! It comes with a Clean Title with a Salvage history but everything has been fixed professionally. You can see in the pictures the only defect is the small tear on the reflector. This 2004 SL 500 was involved in a small front end collision. It has all been professionally repaired..
