Probably the cleanest and nicest SL500 of this age that you will find anywhere. That, combined with the vehicle being owned in California and Arizona with a brief stay in Oregon (also snow free area) gives you a rust free, extremely well maintained, very clean, desirable roadster that you can enjoy for many years to come. I have selected the most relevant photos, but many other are available by request. The vehicle is immaculate, no stains, leather is in very good shape with no tears and no discolorations. Convertible top, of which I have a lot of close-ups, is in mint condition probably never even been rained on. The hard top is also immaculate. Body is free of scratches, dents and paint chips. Fog light lens on driver side is cracked but I will have it replaced. Original Bose stereo. Mechanically it is in excellent condition, serviced at Mercedes Benz in North Scottsdale. It has a brand new battery, and also has a battery maintainer, since this is not a daily driver. Drives, feels and looks like a dream. Feel free to email with any questions. The dash, doors, console are accented with beautiful wood trim which is all absolutely gorgeous. A brand new set of OEM Mercedes mats are also included. This car does have optional Bose Sound System with 6CD Changer. Mechanically, is where this Benz stands out. It has very healthy powerful 5.0L V8 that puts out 302 HP. The automatic transmission shifts perfect while increasing fuel economy and driving comfort. It has a full service history which documents the car was well maintained. Car shows its 7500mi service in 2000, 15k service in 2002 when it was sold as a Starmark, 20k service performed around 2008, 27k service in 2012, then recently serviced again when it came to Nevada for a check up and service at 28,000 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic, and my advisor told me this was one of the cleanest SL's he had ever seen! Everything works in the car.. lights, gauges, radio, seats, windows, locks, a/c blows ice cold, etc. This car is very clean under the hood and really shows how its previous owner took excellent care of it.
