Unique S Series Mercedes Benz . This car comes with Bullet Proof Glass installed all windows. Small Crack in right rear bumper, Cracked Right front turn signal lens and the dash cluster is out Normal Wear for the age of the car and the mileage. other than that the car is in real good condition. Classic Needs a little TLC. The car was well maintained has new Tires on all 4 cold air and rides out nice. I am not the Owner of this Vehicle I am Third Party listing the Vehicle for a Friend. Factory number matching 4 speed manual with AMG features, tow package from factory, no A/C, no sunroof, no stupid fake leather. The cloth on the seats from the factory and we added the edge and headrest details. from factory very rare even in Europe in this configuration. This Mercedes-Benz is in outstanding condition. I own the car for a few years and I took care of the shipping to the USA of the Mercedes just about two years ago. My buddy owned the SE in the past 20 some years over in EUROPE. He constantly was improving the car up until about 7 years ago when he parked the car in his heated garage and almost never drove it again. (might be 100 miles a year, previous years of his ownership he drove it about 500-1000 miles a year to car shows and some pleasure drive) I purchased the vehicle from him about 3 years ago and the car was not driven until I shipped it here to the USA. After the car arrived to New Jersey it was professionally checked in a shop because I wanted to drive her to Colorado where I live. The car got brand new front brakes, oil, oil filter, thermostat, new coolant liquid and new brake fluid. After it was prepped I drove it all the way to Loveland, Colorado without a problem. She drove better than some new cars. I titled the car in my name and than I went for a licence plate... when a huge surprise came along.... they told me I need an emission test to get the plates. It was a huge bummer since I checked all the applicable laws before I made the decision to bring the car over to the USA. The law said the car is exempt from any testing in the whole USA since it is more than 25 years old. The whole country except Larimer county, Colorado. Not the whole state of Colorado but only a few county... including the county I live in. So I had to go through all the loops to get the original emission limits from Germany. After all that the car failed the emission test by .2 on high CO2. They said it is nothing serious, but rich mixture of air and fuel. Since that happened we replaced all the injector heads and put back the original air filter housing.... and the car sits in my heated garage since.... never tried to do the emission test again... I would have to take the car to an expert to do the adjustment on the fuel-air mix, or the K-jet needs to be rebuilt, but I won't... If car does not sell I will have to do that down the road but not for now... We did a compression test on the car and all 6 cylinders were around 160 and there was no more than 2 of psi difference between cylinders. If you buy the car you're more than welcome to check it before you pay for the it just for the piece of your mind. The biggest problem could be with the car is the infamous K-jet system. Also the valve guides seals are hardened as car was sitting in the past 7 years. Other problems are the front door card are a bit loose need some door panel plastic pins. Car sometimes blows the radio and rev meter fuse, (same fuse). Tire treads are OK but same tires since about 1997... Some chips on windshield. Engine runs well, tranny is smoother than anything else I ever drove. Suspension quiet, no problems there. Brakes are new.I stated any known problem with the car. Please check the pictures, but they're still not going to show the real beauty of this car. The paint is 10 out of 10 no comments on that. No paint chips, not one!! Car has been painted 15 years ago with the highest quality paint and while original color code were used the car was given a show quality paint job. Please check reflection picture.TRADE for a Porsche 944 turbo,or 944S or 944S2 or Porsche 968. Please just be reasonable, as you will see you money back if you ever want to sell it down the road. Dash board has no armor all or any shine solution on pictures. Car has the original first aid kit. Raid steering wheel came with AMG features. Just to give you an idea I have around $12000 in this car... and I thought it is easily worth it and it is going to sell easily for that.... my mistake... I guess... Car is listed locally on Fort Collins Craigslist, so if you live around here you can come and see the car.... If interested call me at 808 628 0523 Adrian For some very weak minded people: There are simple car mechanics out there who can work (and enjoy) to work on dual cam head engines as the technology is from the 60's (or 50') and it is not rocket science. Also high grade fuel do not solve your problem with rich mixture. This is a very unique car and it takes time to sell, so it is not surprising I have to re-list the car a few times before finding the right person to buy it... that does not mean the car worth less than I think it's worth... or more??? 1976 Mercedes Benz 280SE 4 door sedan in excellent, original condition.. This immaculate automobile has colorado sand exterior and autumn leaf interior. Automatic transmission, power windows, power brakes, power sunroof, power steering, air conditioning and cruise control are some of the standard features on this classic automobile. Everything is original ( including the radio ) and in good working condition. Power antenna works as well as the clock! The car handles and runs well. This exceptional 1 owner car has only been driven 141,000 miles, and has always been garaged. I do not have room in my collection to store it properly, otherwise I would not be selling it. Hard to find one this nice -- even has the original metric spare tire and tools. Will meet with shippers at your cost. Pre inspection welcomed at your cost. Exceptional 1989 Mercedes 300SE with only 56,000 miles. Finished in Arctic White code 147 with Grey leather code 268. Full size S-class with economical 6 cylinder engine. All original paint and interior, no rust ever. Kept at owners 2nd home in Florida so used very little, always garaged and serviced. Car drives as it should shifts very smooth and stops without any noise or vibration. All options working properly, windows, sunroof, cruise, AC and central locking. Original spare and wheel never used. Original radio replaced with JVC AM FM CD player. Interior perfect except wood trim around shifter has 2 visible screws. This 1976 Classic Mercedes-Benz 450 SE sedan is a "one-owner" car. It has 101,096 original miles. The engine and transmission are mechanically sound. The car is in need of brake work and brake lines. The original color was silver but was repainted medium blue. All original leather interior has visible signs of age with cracking on the seating surfaces and dash panels. The exterior condition is clean with o rust or damages. The power windows, central locking, climate control and stereo radio are in working condition. It is equipped with a factory steel sunroof and color keyed wheel covers. This vehicle has been sitting in storage in an indoor facility for over 7 years but, it starts right up and runs out good. With a little TLC this will be a nice classic running car for the enthusiast.
