Up for sale is a heavily optioned and tastefully modified, 2006 CLS 55 AMG. This is an amazing car that has all the luxuries and comfort of a top of the line Mercedes as well as spectacular performance characteristics. There are many modifications throughout the interior, exterior, and engine that combine to make this quite an experience. You can show up at the valet and park next to a Bentley, and get on the highway and blast away a Z06. This car has been driven as a daily for the past few years by me and the previous owner. Owned by Mercedes enthusiasts with all maintenance performed on schedule. As with any used car there are some small issues with it that I will highlight in each section. These are all new pictures, nothing to hide here FULL Disclosure. I have 2 key fobs, the original books and sale papers. All recent work (since I've owned it) has been done at Bosch authorized service center, Iautohaus AZ. Additional Notes: Buyer is responsible for shipping. Buyer and I can setup inspection before hand. Title will take a couple weeks as I need to pay off loan with my bank first.Everything described below has pictures: ExteriorThis car is quite stunning looking and always catches the eyes of people on the road. The exterior is wrapped in 3M White Satin (matte) wrap. The gargantuan brakes are painted gold with black AMG writing. The wheels are powder coated Ferrari Grey. The wheels are also all 19x9.5 (not staggered), 4 brand new tires (305/30/ZR19 in rear, 255/36/R19 in front). The roof is wrapped in black as well as the front grill and the air vent on hood. The spoiler is carbon fiber. There is full tint on the car. There are custom exterior lighting on the license plate and side mirrors (which are also black). The front side markers are covered in the white wrap. The back lettering is blacked out. Proxima Lowering module installed (by previous owner I never used)As far as negative, the wrap is peeling in various locations, as well as small stains in the wrap. Overall the wrap looks great. To mitigate this I have approximately 20 ft of the wrap still in my garage which is included with the sale. Personally I wouldn't change the wrap at all and it probably has some decent life left. If you don't like the wrap, underneath there is beautiful Mercedes Silver paint. InteriorThe interior of this car is one of a kind and will impress any passenger you have. To begin the entire inside is wrapped in carbon fiber. The steering wheel is upgraded P30 with the suade inserts. There is a custom ipad integration in the glove box. There is valentine K1 radar available (not included unless discussed). There is harmon kardon factory system with a custom alpine kicked box and subwoofer control on seat. The instrument cluster has been upgraded to the 200MPH cluster. The navigation disk has been upgraded to 2014.As far as negative, the automatic truck doesn't work (you need to close manually). There is a small hole in the passenger front seat (from a ladies heel). Some of the massaging seat features don't seem to work although I never use them. The sun roof works great, heated seats, every other interior feature works fine along with the other seat features.PerformanceThis car is an absolute beast. On C mode and driving easy, it can be a nice daily. But when you want, this car is a MONSTER. The 5 speed transmission is very responsive. You can hit 60 mph in first gear in under 4 seconds. There isn't many cars on the road that can stand a chance. Okay onto the modifications. There was a newly installed 5 piece idler pulley set as well as a custom Belt wrap kit. The ECU and TCU were custom tuned by Eurocharged performance as well as upgraded supercharger pulley. The exhaust has the resonators deleted for a nice AMG sound that isn't loud until you really hit it, then it sounds great! 2006 Mercedes CLS55 AMG This is one of the finest automobiles that I have ever owned. It is part of my collection and has been my daily car since I bought it. I pamper all my cars and always do services ahead of time and with the best parts out there. Money has never been a factor with any of my cars. Let me begin to describe my CLS. First everyone on the road gives me the thumbs up and asks at red lights if it is a 2014-15. I just smile and thank them. I made simple changes on the car to my liking. The car is a very sexy, sophisticated automobile so it only needed a few subtle changes. I added HRE custom built 3 piece forged wheels with Hankook Ventus V12 tires. The car has been lowered slightly using the adjustable links so if you want it lower or higher it is a simple turn of a screwdriver. The CLS is notorious for wearing out the inside of the tires. This is mainly because the car was designed in Germany for the Autobahn where stability at extreme high speed is necessary. Since I only need my car to go to the hospitals locally I decided to fix this issue by installing MB Arts upper and lower control arms in the rear with adjustable toe in bars on the rear. The front also has an adjustable caster/ camber set. This has helped dramatically with the even wear of all 4 tires. While I am at the discussion of parts that I have added they include all upper and lower ball joints, 4 new air suspension shocks, IR tinted film on all windows and even though Mercedes recommends that the oil and filter be changed every 10,000 miles with Mobil synthetic oil, I personally do it every 5000. I have had the antifreeze flushed, all brake fluid flushed after I installed 4 new cross-drilled rotors and added Akebono ceramic brake pads for a dustless ride. The power steering fluid was replaced along with the rear differential oil. The transmission fluid and filter were pumped professional through to make sure all the old went out and new came in. This was done every 50, 000 miles to ensure a smooth shifting car. I even changed the supercharger oil even though Mercedes does not call for this on their maintenance records at all. I have learned that if you want things to last you must stay ahead of the maintenance schedule. All belts have been replaced along with all pulleys and tensioners. I have 2 K&N air filters on the car. My friend owns a high end customize shop so he tinted my taillights and removed and repainted my front bumper cover because of the daily sandblasting from driving mostly on the highways. The front grill has been replaced with a more sophisticated one. The car is a non smoker and is clean inside, outside and underneath. There are no known problems or leaks with the car. It drives and looks beautiful. My wife has always wanted me to get a Range Rover so when the Evoque came out I fell in love with it, ordered the "blacked out version" and now that is my hospital runner. I have documented all the repairs and maintenance in a log with receipts. You will not find a nicer CLS55 AMG on eBay or anywhere else. If you truly want one of these I highly recommend you look at mine. You can take it to your mechanic of choice for an inspection and I will also include about 4 extra oil filters. By the way she gets washed weekly by hand and I clay bar her and then apply the finest carnauba wax known to man every 3 months- Swissvax. It costs over $300 per container but gives a beautiful shine and protection to the paint. I have clear title and the only reason I need to sell her is I don't have the room. I have for sale my mint condition Mercedes CLS55 AMG This car is absolutely awesome to drive its very powerful. We always serviced the car at Mercedes and always performed all the maintance on time. The paint job is pearl white which gives this car a very one of a kind look. The interior has a beautiful wood trim paired with black leather. Everything works great on the car, it has new high performance tires and a fresh oil change. This car was originally owned by my uncle which is a car collector. I purchased it from him last year and took great care of it. Only driven on nice summer nights after every drive I get it washed and park it in my heated garage. Our family is growing and I really have no time to enjoy this car anymore. I don't want to sell it but I think its time to let someone else enjoy this car as much as I enjoyed it.
