Hey everyone up for sale today is my 2005 CLK55 AMG. This car is a true beauty and runs and drives as it just drove off the lot. Everything from electric to mechanics works 100% and there are no issues with the car. With 93,000 miles, the car is barely broken in considering it's an AMG engine which are meant to last atleast 250k+. I would keep this car forever if I could, but a third child on the way makes it really hard for me to drive a coupe. This car is a true rocket and a pleasure to drive. With 362 horsepower and 378 pound-feet of torque, you will suddenly notice a big smile on your face when you put your right foot down and hear the rumble of the 5.5 liter Naturally Aspirated V8. This car is the last of a dying breed, as new cars are starting to use forced induction, with Naturally Aspirated engines the power is just always there! The original color of the car is black, and the car is fully loaded with navigation, rear power sunshade, sunroof, heated seats, 6 disc CD changer etc. This car has all factory options except rear parking sensors. As of now, the car is dipped in a beautiful satin black (100% removable), and the rims are powder coated in a gloss black. The car needs nothing but a new driver as I've taken very good care of it. I've had oil changed every 3k miles (Mobil-1), all 4 brakes done about 4 months ago, new rear tires about 3 months ago and a Service B performed about 3 weeks ago. Overall, I would give the car a 8.8/10 (due to crack as seen in pictures). Local pickup preferred, but shipping can be arranged at the buyers cost. Inspections welcome at any time. Do you seek a GOOD one? Then this is the one. You can certainly spend less-but you will end up paying more. Excellent condition. Not one scratch or ding. Perfect rims.Garage kept and covered- since new. This is my 2nd 2002 CLK 55 AMG Cabriolet. I bought the first one new for $89k, then traded it in for this one in 2007 while shopping new cars at the dealership for a girlfriend. I discovered this one sitting "Starmarked" (Dealer inspected with full 50k mile warranty) with only 11k miles in the showroom of the Mercedes Dealer in Pompano Beach Florida. This is my 3rd CLK convertible I've purchased from this dealership since 2000. IF you are looking at CLK convertibles you should know the convertible tops need to have the tension cables replaced after certain years of use- by the dealer for the tops to open and close perfectly. I had this done in 2014. Also there's an oxygen sensor in the air intake manifold that when goes bad- you can't just replace the sensor (that would make too much sense!)- you must replace the entire intake manifold. I had this done 11/14, otherwise the check engine light will repeatedly come on. A mechanic can repeatedly turn it off- but it will come back after a couple of days. So beware all of this when shopping these cars- you can buy one that looks fine- but the light will come back on days later. . I changed out the entire manifold to prevent this issue from ever happening. New brakes ALL around including rotors and four (4) new Hankook tires ALL within 500 miles. K&N filter-Mobile 1 syntethic oil since new. Maintained by Mercedes Dealer and/or All Star Motors in N.Miami, Fl. Why the CLK 55 AMG? They're wickedly fast and narrow (for whipping through traffic on the Interstate-something a wider car can't do), yet extremely reliable and quite stealth. They corner like they're on rails, and stop on a dime. 0-80-stop in less than a quarter mile! These cars cost $40k more than the CLK 430s for a reason. It's the brakes, suspension, hp, and the elegant ALL leather interior (including dash), ice cold dual system AC. First Aid kit, includes car cover. Located 4 miles north of Ft. Pierce, Fl. (130 miles north of Miami-120 miles south of Daytona Fl.) . I'm the SECOND owner of this vehicle since new. The sole negative feedback is from a person whom was mad that I sold my boat to somebody else despite them not even making me an offer. This is the first time I've been back to Ebay in years so apparently missed the 120 day deadline to dispute feedback.
