In fact it’s probably one of the nicest examples of a modern S550 available in the country today. It is obvious that it was and continues to be garage kept. The car starts right up, and runs and drives perfectly. The transmission shifts as it should. The brakes stop well. And it runs down the road straight and true. It is in unbelievable condition compared to most of the cars of similar year I see come through my shop. We are a wholesaler and make our living buying and selling cars through the dealer auctions. We only retail the best, cleanest units we get to the public, however this car is coming out of my personal collection. It is finished in a beautiful and classy palladium silver paint that still maintains its shine. The beautiful grey leather interior looks to be well kept tidy and clean there are no appreciable signs of wear. This particular S550 has only traveled 52k miles in its pampered life. This is a Florida Car. We had it transported up from Florida in late December. It has never seen bad weather nor been driven in winter conditions. While in my possession it has never even seen rain. These S550s are extremely rare and sought after. They are the flagship of the Mercedes Benz line and are the choice of executives and world leaders. They turn heads wherever they go, and they offer the unbeatable combination of the upmost in luxury combined with phenomenal performance from the 4.7 biturbo v8 engine. This particular example is absolutely loaded. Standard featues include Bixenon Headlamps, Power windows, locks, mirrors, power seats, heated seats, anti lock brakes, cruise control, and dual climate control with Ice cold air. Harmon Kardon Stereo with 6 disc in dash CD changer, Bluetooth hands free calling, and USB/Ipod interfaces. These new 4.7 liter bi turbo engines are phenomenal. They make 426 horsepower and have 516 ft / ltbs of torque on demand, that’s just about what the previous generation AMG cars made! If you put your foot in it and this car will throw you back in your seat. Yet due to the nature of turbocharged engines, they are remarkably fuel efficient and routinely get 25+ mpg on the highway. This particular car was loaded up with options as evidenced by the pictured Mercedes benz data sheet: This is a P2 package car, which adds dynamic seats and keyless go and the bi-xenon adaptive headlight package with automatic high / low beams. This car has the optional and rare Power rear sunshades. This car also has the Driver Assistance package, which adds lane guidance warning and distronic cruise control. It basically follows the car in front of you. It was ordered with the sport package, which gives it the AMG body work and the 20” AMG wheels (a $6750 option) The car will come with a BRAND NEW set of tires ($250+ each) mounted to a beautiful set of 20” original AMG wheels. The final window sticker was $109,495 just 3 short years ago. You can own this car for 60% less than that today! There are no check engine lights, strange noises or issues. In fact it’s probably one of the nicest examples of an older SL500 available in the country today. It is obvious that it was and continues to be garage kept. The car starts right up, and runs and drives perfectly. The transmission shifts as it should. The brakes stop well. And it runs down the road straight and true. It is in unbelievable condition compared to most of the cars of similar year I see come through my shop. We are a wholesaler and make our living buying and selling cars through the dealer auctions. We only retail the best, cleanest units we get to the public, however this car is coming out of my personal collection. It is finished in a beautiful and classy silver paint that still maintains its shine. The beautiful grey leather interior looks to be well kept tidy and clean the ONLY sign of wear is a tiny bit of wear in the leather on the driver’s outer seat bolster. This particular SL 500 has only traveled 58k miles in its pampered life. That’s right only 5200 miles a year. It has never seen bad weather nor been driven in winter conditions. While in my possession it has never even seen rain. If the forecast called for the possibility of rain it sat at home in the garage while I drove one of my other vehicles. These SL 500’s are extremely rare and sought after. They are probably one of the best grand touring roadsters ever produced. They turn heads wherever they go, and they offer the practicality of a retractable hard top as opposed to a fabric convertible top. This particular example is absolutely loaded. Bixenon Headlamps, Power windows, locks, mirrors, power seats, heated seats, anti lock brakes, cruise control, and dual climate control with Ice cold air. The car rides on an almost new set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires ($250+ each) mounted to a beautiful set of brand new (less than 1000 miles) Lorinser SLR style wheels ($1700) These wheels give the car a sleek and more modern appearance similar to its SLR big brother. This vehicle rides smooth and tracks straight at 80 mph +. I have the original wheels as well, however the paint had started to fade on them and they detracted a bit from the otherwise brand new appearance of this roadster. The new buyer is welcome to the wheels if they prefer to return the car to stock, although they should really be refinished. There are no check engine lights, strange noises or issues. The engine is quiet, smooth and powerful. The transmission shifts as it should, and the car feels very planted and sure footed on the road. The retractable hardtop works as designed and operates smoothly and quietly with no strange noises. The factory windscreen is also in place. With the windscreen and windows up this car was quieter than my bmw 3 series convertible with the top up. It can transform from providing a serene open air experience to classic wind in your hair open top motoring with just a few adjustments. The adjustable sports suspension has the ability to transform the car from a smooth and comfortable grand tourer into a near road race car with the push of a button. The in cabin entertainment system was completely revamped in 2014. The navigation system was dated and CD based. No new map updates were available, and its was cumbersome to use and often inaccurate. I decided to remove the entire system and start again to upgrade the in car entertainment and multimedia to what one would expect in a six figure car in 2015. The old command head unit was swapped for a double din Eclipse 7” Widescreen unit with touch screen controls. This offers CD, MP3, DVD video, as well as USB and ipod control. It also allows you to pair your mobile phone and have hands free Bluetooth conversations OR stream Bluetooth audio. This deck alone was over $1200. After that all of the speakers were upgraded to a combination of JL Audio and Focal. Including the factory subwoofer. The entire system is powered by an 850 watt JL Audio amplifier mounted in the trunk. The system sound phenomenal top up or top down and offers amenities that rival or exceed what Mercedes Benz currently offers in their 2015 SL’s. Finally the front Grille was replaced with the one from the 2009-14 SL500’s. I have the original Grille as well if the owner prefers. The carpets have been protected since day one and I have both the original carpet mats, as well as the OEM Mercedes all weather mats pictured in the car. Both sets come with the vehicle. Both keys are included and all of the original owners manuals are in place. I am the third owner. The first owner leased the car for 3 years and it traveled 20,662 miles in his hands until the end of the lease. The Mercedes Benz dealership he returned the lease to turned around and sold the car to the second owner as a certified Pre Owned Vehicle – giving it a bumper to bumper warranty for 6 years or 100k miles. The beautiful grey leather interior looks to be well kept tidy and clean. This particular E class wagon has only traveled 110k miles in its pampered life. These E class wagons are extremely rare and sought after this is only the 2nd one I have ever had in my shop. They have 90% of the utility of an SUV, the sure footed handling of all wheel drive, yet the driving characteristics of a sports sedan. This particular example is absolutely loaded. Power windows, locks, mirrors, power seats, anti lock brakes, cruise control, and dual climate control with Ice cold air. Whoever ordered this e320 wagon checked all the boxes to ensure a true luxury experience. This wagon has widescreen navigation, hid xenon headlights, heated seats, the dynamic seat package with massage, rear sunshades, power rear hatch, power moonroof and the super rare 3rd row seat option. The original owner spent over $10k beyond the standard msrp for an e320 wagon to appoint it with all these extra luxury features. Finding an e320 wagon is rare enough, finding a 4matic one with all the options is a needle in a haystack. The car rides on a good set of Cooper lifeliner tires mounted to a beautiful set of original Mercedes alloy wheels. I have personally driven this vehicle and it rides smooth and tracks straight at 80 mph +. There are no check engine lights, strange noises or fluid leaks. The engine is quiet, smooth and powerful. The transmission shifts as it should, and the car feels very planted and sure footed on the road. This particular car will make a great family car, commuter car, or a safe and reliable first car for your new driver. The all wheel drive also makes it a great car for winter weather. Now every used car has its flaws – otherwise it wouldn’t be used! Here is what our inspection has revealed: The front bumper cover has a couple cracks on the lower passenger side corner. The fog light is also missing. It looks like the car hit one of those concrete parking blocks or something superficial like that. I can get this repaired prior to you taking delivery at wholesale cost, by my very good body man but we did not want to do paintwork on the car. Please call me to discuss this if you would like it repaired as part of your purchase. The rear bumper has one small 2-3” scuff on the driver’s side. There are also some superficial scratches on the top edge of the bumper from loading / unloading luggage into the trunk. I have tried to photograph all the flaws as best I can so there are no surprises. Overall it’s a VERY nice car especially for the year.
