ALL ORIGINAL, not messed with.This is a 4 speed on the floor manual transmission all original Arizona/California Mercedes 220D BOX A Arizona title (original mileage) with 94,259 miles on the working odometer.Never painted. Original paint. Not faded.It includes a Mercedes dealer receipt and warranty for a replacement diesel engine in 1998 when the car had 44,707 miles on it.It runs and drives perfectly, no drips, no leaks. You could keep it just as is.Or, you could replace the carpets and headliner and drive it with pride as a daily driver. Or, you could also re cover the seats which have one or two small blemishes, mostly on the top of the back seat under the rear window. Original radio included. Does not appear to work. It had an aftermarket radio in it which I removed. Original Becker will be in the trunk.Everything else works, horn, lights, signals, blower.Needs:Both interior lights cracked, not working.There is a pin sized hole in the hood over the positive post of the battery. I assume someone tried to jump it and the hood fell down and arced.Front windshield has a crack in it.The drain connection in the passenger side front footwell has some rust. See pictures.There is no other rust in this car.One hub cap is the wrong color.AC works, blows cool. Just needs juice. This car was thoroughly safety checked and all flex brake lines were replaced, brake lines flushed, all fluids changed, motor mounts replaced, good tires put on it.You could drive it home if you wanted to.

This is an all Arizona/California rust free* car. If you purchase this car you would do so for the pristine original body and original paint that you will find nowhere else.The engine and transmission are out of the car and the engine needs to be rebuilt. We have run out of time at this moment to continue this restoration.You will notice that most of the photos included are of the underside and interior floors so you can see just how good this original car is. If you have an old rust bucket 200 series MB that you would like to restore, this body is for you. Or, take the 220 diesel engine apart and rebuild it and you'll be in business.All other parts are included with this car with the exception of the radio and radiator are missing and you will have to replace the carpets. This car is so rust free that it has the original exhaust on it, and the exhaust is in excellent working condition. * The only rust on the car is in the trunk. The trunk must have leaked and so it rusted from the INSIDE, not outside. The pictures detail the trunk condition. You could put a carpet and mat over it and just leave it alone. It has no structural impact whatsoever.
