Even less than the typical tiny touch-up stuff, it's one of the better ones you could find! The plastic trim pieces around the headlights and tail lights are starting to get a little clear coat fade and this is common on these. Not horrible, so you could leave as is, have them redone or simply remove. Only held on with double sided tape. The rest of the clear coat on the car is perfectly fine. Even looks good with the top up! And it's in great shape with no cracks or tears or leaks. One spot on the front where it got lightly scraped, but did not go through the material. It's too light to show in a picture, but right below the license plate well is a small area of spider web cracks in the bumper cover paint. Bumped into something lightly, did no damage to the bumper cover itself. From every angle, one sharp looking automobile!!!!!! Interior Excellent miles!! Just as good inside! As nice as you could find with very little wear and not smoked in! The air is cold, all the power goodies are working and the Bose stereo sounds great! When I purchased this in June, the Sirius XM was working and still is as of today! The owner may have purchased a lifetime subscription, but I do not know for sure. Of course, no guarantee as to how long it will keep on playing, I have no way of knowing. Also, I could not get it to pull in a CD, the CD load button was working erratically. May just need to be cleaned, but I wanted to let you know. The AM/FM radio and power antenna are working and it all sounds wonderful!! Timing belt done! Got to love our Florida cars! Exterior: shiny metal-flake Velocity Mica Red paint, no body or paint work, no dents, dings or scratches, except one tiny dimple on truck lid rear (was there when delivered new to dealer) and minute wheel scuffs from parking next to curb. Interior: no apparent wear, no cracks, no stains, no tears, no cuts, no fading. Drives same as new, no squeaks, no rattles. Battery periodically trickle charged and in good charge. Has battery disconnect switch in trunk. Imperfections are a few tiny chips (smaller than a pin head) on front facia, dimple (from dealership when new) on truck lid rear center just above license plate, minute wheel scuffs from touching curb. The Titanium Gray Metallic paint has an excellent shine and color with no rust and the black/red velour cloth interior is fresh and comfortable with little wear. Not smoked in and ready to enjoy right away! Of course, the ride and drive is excellent with a strong engine, tight suspension and smooth shifting transmission. And with my service/safety check done, new timing belt/water pump and excellent tires, it's ready for any road trip or daily duty! It does have that nice and tight feel of quality and the condition speaks of a well cared for vehicle, so you can look forward to a lot more life out of this one. Plus, it comes with a certified AutoCheck report so you can purchase with peace of mind! That report does show a front accident in 2008, but I could not find any signs of a serious collision. I found all the support pieces and frame are as they should be and any paintwork was done professionally and looks wonderful. Remember, I was buying this one for myself, so I made sure it was not a serious incident. Also, the report shows 3 owners, actually only two. Exterior Just as pretty in person with nothing to take away from the clean look and less than the expected small blems! Few little touchups I had done, one on the lower left edge of the front spoiler. What you see in the picture is before I touched it up with the right color. Just a scratch, nothing broken. I was very pleased with how this car looks and I'm sure you will too! Much better than most of the comparable ones out there!! If you know this particular model, then you may notice the plastic decorative pieces around the headlights are missing. I do have them in the trunk, removed them because they needed to be repainted. And I like this look better anyway! Even looks good with the top up! Great shape too with no tears and a glass rear window. That one small spot you see in the middle edge near the trunk is where a small hole was repaired. The other thing on the edge is just a leaf or something that made it into the picture! 17" MazdaSpeed alloys with 205/40/R17 radials. From all angles, one sharp looking car that anyone would be proud to own and drive! Interior Just as good inside and not smoked in! Very nice and clean with just light wear, commensurate with the year and miles. Not beat up or abused and the air is cold! Some wear at the top of the steering wheel. The Bose CD stereo sounds great! About the stereo- There is a disc in it and it does play, but for some reason will not eject. Also, the buttons are missing off the front as you can see, but you are still able to tune the radio. Included are the MazdaSpeed floor mats, owners manual and keys with remote. Also, the two front headlight trim pieces that I removed, they would need to be repainted if you even wanted to put them back on. Double sided tape is all you would need. Remember, I had the very important timing belt/water pump service done. Good for about another 100,000 miles! These are the front tires, the rears are brand new! The rear wheel drive cars tend to wear the back tires first and the ones on the car were too close to the wear bars for my comfort, so I had a new set put on the back. Got to love our Florida cars! This is the 1990 Miata that the aficionado would build if he/she were to build it today. Nimble, light weight, Corvette power, while still maintaining that humble daily drivability. Back and forth to work 5 days a week and canyon carving, Autocross or full on track racing on Saturday and Sunday and then drive it back home. 312BHP and about 2300 pounds with the Hard Dog roll bar, makes it about 7.3 pounds/HP (2015 Corvette at 460 BHP and 3400 pounds is about 7.4 pounds/HP), providing exciting acceleration and yet city traffic smooth. When out for a day of sport, the 70MPH 2nd gear and over 100MPH 3rd gear makes for some great track and Autocross times. For Autocross, this Miata pulls great from about 20MPH all the way to 70MPH in second gear. Fast enough for most AX tracks to not require constant shifting. Add to that the 4 piston caliper Willwood brakes on front and larger rotors on the rear and it stops as fast as it accelerates. This Miata was purchased as the test car for the 90-93 1.6L Supercharger Kit. In 2011 we pulled the engine, transmission and supercharger kit and installed it in a dedicated track car (now in Colorado still performing as a dedicated track car) and replaced it with a built Rebello 1999 engine, transmission and Torsen LSD that we had collecting dust. The engine has very few miles on it and the transmission and diff are also very low mileage.
