The keen driver is more likely to appreciate the difference made by lowering the ride height by 0.4 inches, fitting 19-inch Trofeo wheels with special Pirelli P Zero Rosso Asimmetrico tires, and adding the instantly adaptive Skyhook active damping system, which is standard on the GranSport. Maserati is proud of the aerodynamic improvements, which we suspect were an unexpected bonus from features developed by Ferrari-Maserati design chief Frank Stephenson to give the GranSport a lower look and more muscular stance than the original that was designed by Giugiaro. The visual tricks work-in front with the larger chrome mesh grille and under-bumper air intakes, and in the doorsill extensions, which, close up, look big enough to be running boards. Combined with a trunklid spoiler and an extended rear bumper with enlarged outlets to encourage airflow under the car, the drag coefficient has been improved from 0.34 to 0.33, and the front-to-rear aerodynamic balance is also better! Joe Walsh's "Life's Been Good" was on my cell phone with "My Maserati Does 185", and it does. This is a beautiful car, but it is eye catching in Bianco Fuji Paint (Pearl Special White - $5,130) from Ferrari. The monstrous exhaust is housed in a 4.2 engine (400HP) with red brake calipers ($550), 19" ballpolished GSport rims ($1,190) and Maserati caps on the wheels to re-air the tires. The engine explains itself, coupling a 6-speed "Cambiocorsa" Transaxle with a computer controlled clutch. The Skyhook Suspension ($2,500) supports stability and control. The 4 wheels have an ABS braking, ASR traction control system and MSP stability control systems. These are the support for this enhanced Italian sports car. The exterior has Xenon front lights and a modified exhaust, and in the rear a smart "Maserati" of carbon fiber houses the rear plate. The interior is exceptional with black leather seats and with red trim piping, with carbon fiber appointment and steering wheel ($2,600 Interior 2). The seat memory and heated seats ($755) are also other options. The Pioneer Premier Stereo with Bluetooth and CD, coupled with the subwoofer in the trunk are add-ons. Also, the Escort Passport SR7 detector is included; say no more. There is a cruise control, and I have never used it. Of course, there is an alarm system, trunk access, all the books in a Maserati binder, two keys and 1 valet key. When I bought the car four years ago (the original owner had traded in for a Lamborghini), it had 2,771 miles on the car. I did not receive the car cover listed on the Maserati original invoice. The Maserati invoice is $119,447.00 (less the $305 car cover) plus sales tax. Additions include a Premier Pioneer Stereo, Bluetooth, CD and subwoofer, Escort Passport SR7 detector and modified exhaust. The Ferrari dealership added four new tires, 4 wheel alignment and a complete tune up ($3,451.21). The car currently has 6,119 miles. The car has been garaged on a battery charger and is non-smoking. It is truly exceptional and a true Italian sports car. My wife loves the power and the modified exhaust rumble. I hate to sell, but health issues prevail.

This is a 2005 Maserati GranSport. It has very low miles and has always been garaged and taken care of. Ferrari of Salt Lake has done every service on this car since 2005. Its never had any mechanical issues whatsoever. It has always started right up and driven with no problems. It has been my daily driver. It is a very reliable car especially if your driving it often. It isn't meant to be a garage queen. The clutch was checked out by Ferrari at 22500 miles and it was only 6% worn so there is tons of life left on this one. Ferrari just changed all 4 tires about a 2 months ago. Brakes are at 80% life. Its an automanual transmission which means you use paddle shifters to change gears. No user operated clutch. You can also switch it to full auto mode and the car will do everything for you. Brand New it was a $120,000 car. So for 1/3 of the price you are buying a truly hand built Italian super-car. The sound this thing produces is AMAZING. NADA trade in value on the car is $41,000. Its got every available option and an aftermarket upgrade stereo that sounds incredible. Integrated phone, touchscreen, bluetooth, etc. 15" sub woofer and high end amp professionally built in and installed. Stereo cost about $3000 installed. It also has a fully integrated built in laser/radar detector and jammer that allows you to drive this car the way it was meant to be driven. I have never come close to being pulled over in this thing. It spots cops way before they spot you. Its called the Passport 9500ci and cost $2500 installed. Email for any additional pictures. Interior and Exterior are in near perfect condition with very minor wear if any. Full Clear coat installed.
