Up for sale ...1990 Lotus Esprit SE Turbo First off lets get a few things clear. If you click Buy It Now...this means you have agreed to buy this car now. Not that you want the car and you want me to hold the car for x amount of days while you sell your car, get a loan, get permission from your wife, or mull it over. You have bought the car. I will not send any more pics, I will not accept your Facebook friend request, I will not listen to your life story or bro stories about the cars you have or had/seen. I am on here to sell this car not socialize. Please do not waste my time. 2) You make me an offer and I accept. You have bought this car. Pay the NON REFUNDABLE deposit and get your funds together and pay me in full in 48 hours. The deposit is not for me to hold the car while you think about it, ask a thousand questions, request hundreds of pics and videos only to back out a week later. Ask plenty of questions before you agree to buy. Not after. Call me old fashioned but drive over and look at the car. Or get an appraiser. If you do not see it in the picture it isn't there. Do not ask about any original parts that are not in the pictures. Now with that said...The description... This lotus comes from California, it was stored for prolonged period. Sold new in California, It was regularly driven until Y2K and pretty much sitting since. Clean Carfax shows no accidents or any other issues. WE have replaced timing belt and clutch assembly. Timing belt due to age, clutch however was on its last leg. Anyhow, starts, runs, drive good. Clutch has upgraded steel braided hose, done prior to us. Body has been re-sprayed once before to same yellow, not a greatest job bit still looks good. Interior could use little help, dashboard lacquer has pealed and will need refinishing. Seats are OK but could use little help, maybe leather treatment or just soapy water. Anyway, Non rusty, clean Carfax, Mechanically sound, good looking Stevens bodied Esprit at reasonable price! PLATES ARE NOT INCLUDED. Buyer is responsible for shipping the car. We will gladly assist with International shipping. We will store the car for free for one week. For auction is my Esprit Turbo, a truly great car. This one has only 24000 miles. I am the third owner having purchased it 4 years ago after a yearlong search. The work done is documented below. Everything works as it should. The paint is original and shows the wear of 20+ years. The previous owner bumped the left front bumper with his snow blower and cracked the paint. Tires are 3 year old Kuhmo Escatas, not the best handling but I wanted to keep the Revolution wheels. I have the certificate of provenience and documentation from Lotus Cars which goes with the car. I have had several toy cars and thought the Esprit was to be the “forever” car. But realized there are several other cars I really want to own (Elan +2S, MGB GT, TR 250) so The Lotus is for sale. It is bubble wrapped in the basement and comes with the car. We got tow key's, manual's and service history with this car from the 3rd owner. Over all the car is in very nice shape and we had it checked out and runs out very nice and is ready for the new owner to have fun with. The outside of the car looks good from 5 feet but when you get close you can see where the clear is coming off on the roof and rear deck lid but over all looks good for a car that is 25 years old. The inside is in very nice shape and has had the seats redone about two years ago and all the other panels look very nice. We have tried all the windows and they work fine as do the headlights and power antenna. The car will come with all the service history, books, keys, car cover that is in the trunk. The tires are in good shape and the wheels are free from chips or curb rash. As you can see in the photos there are some chips and fading on the clear and if you need more photos or info on this car E-mail or call Paul as the car is sold AS IS for it is over 25 years old. Over all this would make someone a very fun and cheep way to get a exotic sports car and still get looks today and is going to start going up in price.
