1998 Lincoln Continental Transmission needs rebuild. 1st gear is gone, 2nd 3rd and 4th work fine. Just don't have the time and space to fix. Many new parts including: 4 BRAND NEW Bridgestone tires (less than 100 miles) have receipts. Less than 1 yr old Accel ignition coil set. Rear wheel bearings, brake rotors, calipers, pads, water pump, alternator, idle air control valve. Includes Lincoln 1998 factory repair manuals. This is an excellent, original Continental convertible. Original 430 V8. The front end has been extensively reworked, all receipts have been retained. Radial tires only have a few thousand miles on them, you can see their minimal wear in photos. The original bias ply tires are included. Also included are a spare engine, transmission, and seven large Rubbermaid bins of parts from a '65 Continental convertible. Paint & body panels are original and in very good condition. In the photos you can see a few spots of cracked paint due to age. The interior is in great condition. Original leather seats are cut free. The top operates correctly. This car is ready to be enjoyed, or a wonderful original restoration candidate.

1977 Lincoln Continental Town Car. Used, two owners, a couple of rust spots, needs a new paint job. Runs good, drives smoothly, only 21,000 miles. Up for auction is a 1987 Lincoln Continental. The car is in very good condition with 65,800 miles. The body is in very nice condition, with the only flaws being a small scrape in the left rear quarter panel, some minor parking lot door dings (that would not show up in photos), and one minor rust bubble below the trim on the left rear quarter panel. The grey leather interior is in perfect condition, with no rips or tears. This car is well optioned including the factory premium sound system with cassette, power trunk release with pull down, split front power seats, and automatic headlamps. The air suspension functions well on this car, and it sits level and drives really nice. I just had an oil change and general maintenance completed along with a new fuel pump. It runs and drives great, and would be a great vehicle for many years to come. I would say this car is a very good "driver", and presents itself well. With some minor work it can be taken to the next level, and possibly be the show car it could be. The things that need attention on this vehicle are: 1) Air Conditioning: I never tried to have the system charged. The car had sat a couple of years before I bought it, and the system is empty. The automatic climate control functions properly, but I never made it to charge the A/C; 2) Wipers: Wipers function fine, but do not park; 3) Carpeting: as the pictures show, apparently someone spilled bleach in the back seat. It could be covered with a mat temporarily, but at a minimum needs to be re-dyed. Otherwise, the car runs and looks great and would be something to be proud of. These are becoming scarce cars, so this is a good chance to own a future collectible at a reasonable price.
