For what it is worth, I have never taken this off road. My property in Illinois is out in the country, and when it snows, the County doesn't grade my road for days, and my driveway is really long. I built this to be a super off road machine, but I really just needed 4 wheel drive to get out of the snow. It has always been on pavement. I live in Bay Farm Island, Alameda, CA. I just drove the car out here 2 weeks ago. I really hate selling it.You will notice that the plastic is off the front bumper in some pictures. I planned on installing Terra Firma Bumpers, front and rear, as well as a Terra Firma skid plate on the front. I never got around to it. When I decided to sell this rig, I put the plastic back on the bumper. In my opinion I would leave it off, as the tires will rub just slightly when articulated a lot. I drove the truck to California and it only rubbed a few times, when turning into high banked lots. It doesn't rub enough to damage the plastic or the tires. It just barely rubs the tall knobby tread. If you want the plastic removed, I can do it in about 45 minutes to an hour. It is super easy to remove. I prefer to have just the steel bumper and leave the plastic off. It looks tougher in my opinion. Lol.The following is a parts list of the build. I have thorough records, including a record book, shop manual, and all receipts. I planned on converting this truck to a 7 seater, so it includes all the necessary parts to do the conversion (see pics on flickr). 119.000 Miles, 2 owners.Silver, black leather seats, interior is in good condition. It drives, but It's a salvage, engine needs work, It overheated and water vapor is starting to come out of exhaust pipe.Drivers power window is not working Passengers power lock is not workingFront bumper is cracked.Rear bumper broke in right side.Passenger sides windshield plastic frame is missing, Part of the passengers sides rear mudguard is missing.One of the blinds that closes the sunroof has a broken plastic clamp and it doesn't close.

Pick up only, however shipping can be arranged with a transport company of your choice. This vehicle was purchased recently from the original owners and was sent to an auto mechanic for servicing. Some paperwork is present in the vehicle describing the work done and is available to any interested parties. It is a beautiful Land Rover in a British racing green color, a perfect fit for the car. This is the last year of the Discovery Series II and in my opinion is the best. It has a huge 4.6L V8 engine, much more powerful than earlier year models, and actually gets very good highway gas mileage. City street driving is still tough on a car with such a large engine, but it does well to keep up. This is the SE model and does not include jump seats in the rear, but does have a handy trunk cover to cover what you are carrying. The car is in excellent condition, but does leak oil. Its common for a car of its age to leak, you just have to make sure check the oil every once in awhile. Other than that the car drives perfectly and the dashboard is free from any lights. The bumper is cracked, as shown in the pictures and one of the plastic pieces on the door has cracked as well, otherwise this car is as close to new as possible. Thanks for looking and happy bidding! Rare light-green Land Rover Discovery II SE7, one owner, 91K highway miles, CA rust-free car with many extras. This is a well maintained true all-terrain SUV. Color is light green with tan interior and power everything. 8 way power driver and 6 way power front passenger seats, dual airbags, ABS breaks, Clarion Nav, DVD, Bluetooth, Rear Camera, XM Radio and AM/FM with 10 speaker including rear door subwoofer. Exterior and interior condition is good and the drive train is in very good mechanical shape with smooth shifting and great acceleration due to ECU chip reprogramming. These are truly one of a kind suv's and nothing compares. Off road capabilities are phenomenal. Has Pirelli Scorpion Verde tires with less than 6K miles, new engine replaced at 50K miles, new spark plugs and wires. Has dual moonroofs neither of which leak, but headliner is starting to droop. Check Engine light occasionally lights up, needs new head gasket, but the engine runs great. Serious inquiries only please. The Best 4x4xFar ! I’m placing my beloved 2004 Land Rover Discovery II SE up for sale. This is a reluctant decision from a true Land Rover enthusiast. Certainly a super rare opportunity to own one of the greatest off road brand as well as a full adventure kitted vehicle. I came to this decision after considering a recent lower back surgery and also a young family that needs my full attention. I am the second owner of this Discovery since 2006 when it had around 24K miles. This was the last year of the Discovery before the LR3 arrived. This is the final year of the legendary Discovery (Camel Trophy and G4 events- see YouTube) that is sought by many. Its uniqueness are the larger more powerful 4.6L engine and central differential locker that can be engaged at any time. Greatest of care has been given to this Full Time 4 Wheel Drive vehicle. It has never been off road. This is a special full adventure kitted Land Rover Discovery that is a rare sight on the road. Personally, no other off-road vehicle has the same soul and unique look of this Land Rover Discovery. I didn’t skimp on anything when I built this Rover. It has the best of everything, even a powerful HAM amateur radio, with automatic folding roof antennas, to left wing internally routed custom UK Mantec air intake snorkel, to sand ladders to get you out of trouble anywhere in the world!! There are discontinued parts as well as custom made parts that you will never find on the market. All parts are installed by Land Rover enthusiast professionals. I have spent countless hours in seeing this project through. I hope the new owner will enjoy this Rover for its uniqueness and legendary off road capabilities. I have tried to glue some areas together, but it can be done better or replace/remove altogether - The passenger door’s window regulator doesn’t work. The window can’t be moved up or down. I believe a new regulator replacement should fix this TERMS: I’m selling this Discovery AS IS. This is an eleven years old vehicle that is still in excellent condition; however some normal aging wear should be expected. Please have your finance ready before placing bids. For sale my 1997 Land Rover Discovery 4x4 V8. The car is in good driving conditions has a clear title currently registered until November 2015 passed smog just last week. The engine was replaced 5 years ago and it has 70xxx miles up to date Car has 171xxx miles on the chaise. The work on the engine was done at the Engine Place in Ventura, got all the paperwork to prove it. Just last month I did a full tune up to it: oil change, spark plugs, wires and coils( over $700). The Rover comes with updated pioneer stereo with hands free Bluetooth and Bluetooth music steaming. It also has new "Kicker" high performance speakers. It has new Bridgestone tires with over 85% life left on them. The car has the minor wear and tear for its age but overall it looks good inside-out. I'm looking to downgrade to a smaller car and that's the only reason I'm selling it. Asking price is 3200 OBO cash! NO MONEY ORDER, NO CHECKS!
