The Best 4x4xFar ! I’m placing my beloved 2004 Land Rover Discovery II SE up for sale. This is a reluctant decision from a true Land Rover enthusiast. Certainly a super rare opportunity to own one of the greatest off road brand as well as a full adventure kitted vehicle. I came to this decision after considering a recent lower back surgery and also a young family that needs my full attention. I am the second owner of this Discovery since 2006 when it had around 24K miles. This was the last year of the Discovery before the LR3 arrived. This is the final year of the legendary Discovery (Camel Trophy and G4 events- see YouTube) that is sought by many. Its uniqueness are the larger more powerful 4.6L engine and central differential locker that can be engaged at any time. Greatest of care has been given to this Full Time 4 Wheel Drive vehicle. It has never been off road. This is a special full adventure kitted Land Rover Discovery that is a rare sight on the road. Personally, no other off-road vehicle has the same soul and unique look of this Land Rover Discovery. I didn’t skimp on anything when I built this Rover. It has the best of everything, even a powerful HAM amateur radio, with automatic folding roof antennas, to left wing internally routed custom UK Mantec air intake snorkel, to sand ladders to get you out of trouble anywhere in the world!! There are discontinued parts as well as custom made parts that you will never find on the market. All parts are installed by Land Rover enthusiast professionals. This Discovery runs very strong with no known engine issue and leak. This vehicle has always been kept under a car cover, so the paint is still in great condition. It has never been in an accident. I have tried to glue some areas together, but it can be done better or replace/remove altogether - The passenger door’s window regulator doesn’t work. The window can’t be moved up or down.
