Up for sale is my 1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ, Purchased it completely stock nearly 2 years ago with very low miles and started adding more and more upgrades to it. Over $4000 in upgrades. Runs great. Sad to sell it but I need more of a daily driver. Obviously made it to off-road in but never did so it hasn't been abused in anyway and has been garage kept for as long as I've had it. Please note that this Jeep is a 4x4 but since we swapped the stock Dana 35 rear axle to the stronger Ford 8.8, the gears in the Dana 30 don't match the 8.8 so a regear will need to be done. It's being sold as-is with no existing warranty. You are bidding on a 94 Jeep Cherokee 2dr. Right Hand Drive Postal edition. It has the 6 cylinder 4.0 engine which is bulletproof. I bought it for my wife when she started working as a Rural Postal Carrier, but she now moved on, so the USPS loss is your gain. The good: The jeep runs perfectly, starts up on the first crank, has not stranded my wife ever. I personally drove it on the highway at highways speeds for 2 hours with no issues. In the last 3 months I have replaced the timing chain, distributor, headlights, spark plugs and wires, starter, battery, crank position sensor and water pump. The not so bad: Exterior paint is not perfect, could use new front shocks, might need a brake booster (but it still stops and brakes), only the fuel, temp and voltage gauges work as they should. 98 Jeep Cherokee 4X4, 4.0 straight 6 engine with auto transmission. Cold A/C, FM stereo, Manual windows ( I like them much better than electric ) The power-train including the 4X4 operation is fine. HD grey cloth seats, Interior is good shape ( pics coming when daylight ) nobody really sees the roof but the clear coat is coming off in places / some paint fading up there too ) Mechanically the Jeep is fine, it runs fine, the engine doesn't have any odd noises and runs strong, the transmission shifts as it should, no slipping. It drives straight, no pulling, the Jeep is rust free and should be around for another 20-30 years. No tears in the passenger seat or rear seat. The rear seat folds down flat. NADA book value shows $3900. for a fine model but this one has some misc. things as mentioned so I deducted $1200. from the book price. Miles may vary slightly as vehicle is in use. The jack and a full size matching rim/wheel w/o tire are included. There is a trailer hitch with working electrical connector. The stickers ( as seen in some pics ) on the sides were removed and there's no paint damage from their removal. *** If you want the Jeep for on road use, it's for sale at the listed price, in case you were going to use it off road / farm use only and you don't need the title I have for it, You can have it for $2195. but you must mention off road / farm use only in the $2195. offer and I'll adjust/confirm the lower price. This is a clean Jeep Cherokee 4x4 with 35x12.50 15 BF Goodrich T/A MT with very light weight aluminum wheels. 4 1/2 in lift kit with 2 in spacers. The jeep runs and drives great. A/C works good. Only used for trailing it has never been in the mud. It does have a rebuilt title but is NOT a flood vehicle and air bags did NOT deploy. Damage was to right rear quarter panel but has been repaired. 95 Jeep Cherokee was bought new and then project was started truck was completely stripped complete roll cage and aluminum installed on floor. Truck has Boyd/Billet custom rims 15x3.5 front and 15x14 rear with Mickey Thompson tires. Engine is a 302 SVO Short Block and installed is a Crower crank ,set of JE custom Blower Pistons, custom blower pistons, custom Blower Pistons, custom Oliver Billet Rods, JW Billet Rods, JW Billet Flywheel, ATI balancer, Eldelbrock Victor Intake and Aluminum Brodex Track I Heads.
