Beautiful 1976 International Scout! The original owner had this Scout until 2004 in San Diego. It was extremely well cared for and has an extensive paper trail. The second owner was in Florida and it was in his possession until approx 2012. Since, it has been in a couple small collections between Columbia, SC and Charleston, SC. It has a 345 International V8 Engine, 727 Torqueflite Automatic Transmission. The body and frame are in excellent condition overall as you would expect from a California car. It has Power Disc Brakes and Power Steering along with a recent addition of an aftermarket A/C system. Freezing cold A/C and hot heat! This Scout has the rare XLC package which gives it a much higher end upholstery and trim package on the interior than most Scouts. The odometer reads 64,825 miles but I am pretty sure it is actually 164,825 miles. I have extensive ownership records/invoices/bills/notes from the original owner and according to his notes the 345 V8 was rebuilt in 1994 when the truck had 134,xxx miles on it. This truck was treated to a high quality repaint at the expense of it's original owner in 2000. The 17 year old respray still looks fantastic but does have a few scratches/imperfections. That said, the age of the paint is a real testament to the quality of the steel underneath. This Scout is has all of it's original sheet metal and no patch panels to be found. Very Very solid and original. At the time of the repaint the original owner spent approx $4200 having the interior refreshed as well. You will be hard pressed to find another Scout that was taken care of like this one! Ready to drive and enjoy! I HAVE ACCESS TO INCREDIBLE FINANCING OPTIONS FOR THIS SCOUT TO QUALIFIED BORROWERS AT RATES AS LOW AS 1.99%. UP TO 60 MONTHS AND NO DOWN PAYMENT REQUIRED. PLEASE CALL ME AT 843-452-5551 FOR DETAILS. Please call me directly for additional information or to discuss a "buy it now". It is much easier to answer questions on the phone that through messages. I will be happy to take time and answer any and all questions thoroughly. I also welcome pre purchase inspections by 3rd parties if you are considering a purchase site unseen. Beautiful from every angle” VIN F0062FGD12603 The International Harvester Company is no stranger to building trucks that last and can take the abuse of hard work while stressing the importance of reliability and performance. The idea of giving the American worker a vehicle that rivaled their farm equipment was a stellar decision from the executives at IHC. International Harvester developed the Scout in the early 1970’s and it became the precursor of the modern SUVs we know today. The only other 4-wheel drive recreational vehicles offered at the time were Jeeps and Broncos. The Scouts became known for their ability to perform anywhere while maintain high levels of durability and reliability. They are a key part of automotive history as being considered one of the first SUV’s. This 1976 International Scout has been the recipient of a thorough cosmetic and mechanical recondition including but not limited to a glass out repaint. Completed in late 2010, the quality of the work is self evident and the car remains in wonderful condition. Recent mechanical work includes a full tune up, new brakes throughout, including rear brake drums, wheel cylinders and shoes, front brake rotors, calipers, pads and hoses. The automatic transmission was pulled from the truck and received a complete overhaul. The rear main seal, oil pan gasket and transmission pan gasket was also recently replaced and the truck is free from major leaks. Finished in a metallic gray paint, it wears its new vinyl black top and black steel wheels well. Complete with front brush guard, black fender flares, custom rear tire and gas can carrier this truck makes a strong off road statement. The paint remains in excellent condition and there are no major blemishes. The repaint was done properly; all door jams, inner panels, gutters and nooks and cranny having received professional attention. The blue cloth interior features two front captains chairs, a rear bench seat and rollbar. The instrumentation, carpets and gauges appear to be original, and show only minor wear and presents well/. The 304 cubic inch V8 pulls hard and produces an aggressive exhaust note throughout the entire RPM band. The automatic transmission shifts without hesitation or any slipping. All other mechanical components are in working order, as they should be, and this truck is ready to be enjoyed by its next enthusiastic owner. Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this nicely restored, well documented and highly optioned 1980 International Scout II. Finished in correct Tahitian Red (a deep metallic bronze shade), paint quality is excellent and panels are straight with good gaps. Original front and rear bumpers are in good condition showing only minor patina; most seals and gaskets are new and all glass is good. 32x11.50 Pro Comp mud terrains on chrome steel wheels. Underside is solid with no known rust issues. My favorite thing about the truck, though, is the tri-color graphics package -- the "waves" applique was specified on the line setting ticket and has been faithfully reproduced in the original factory design. The interior shows well with factory "pillow top" bucket seats in excellent condition; carpet, door panels, headliner, dash and steering wheel are all very good. Original factory AM/FM stereo is still in the dash, but a modern AM/FM/CD stereo is mounted in the locking center console. All gauges, lights, switches and indicators work properly. Highly optioned with 345 cubic inch V8, automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, tilt steering wheel, sliding rear quarter windows and factory luggage rack. Service records dating back to the mid-1990s with a documented engine rebuild in 2004; recent work includes a new brake master cylinder, water pump, heater control valve, steering stabilizer and muffler. In addition to the service records, we also have copies of the factory line setting ticket, the original window sticker and even the EPA fuel economy label. 1980 Scout II - Factory Raven Edition For Sale is a 1980 IHC International Scout II Raven CVI (Custom Vehicle Incorporated) edition. This is a rare model of the Scout and one of very few survivors of it's kind that remain out there today. Only a handful were produced through CVI. These were dressed-up Scout models with special exterior decals and trim, center console coolers, hood scoops, and some editions had plastic window louvers on the rear side glass, fender flares, and two different plastic tailgate inserts. This Scout is very solid, and has been garage kept for the majority of it's 34 year life. I am the third owner. The previous owner purchased it from a big rig dealership in southern Virginia, Goodwin Truck and Tractor, who held on to it in 1980 as it was the last CVI they had left over when Scouts went out of production that year. The vehicle went to Pennsylvania with the owner's relative for a brief period of time, and then was brought back to southern Virginia where it spent the duration of its first decade at the dealership in a silo style weather proof building on the dealerships premises. He came across this Scout in 2007 and purchased it from the elderly dealership owner who was not really interested in selling at the time, but he made him a nice offer. This Scout has the original everything in the drive train. A 345 V8 engine and automatic transmission. The mileage on the odometer is 34,485 which is short of the actual amount. The speedometer was replaced prior to my purchasing the vehicle by the dealership. The actual mileage is somewhere around 50K. It has a flow master custom built exhaust, electronic ignition installed in distributor, and a brand new battery. The Scout sits on it's fully restored original poly-cast wheels with brand new 33x10.50/15 BFG All Terrain Tires (less than 150 miles) and a 4" suspension lift. It cranks, runs, drives down the road, and functions great - it truly starts on the first bump of the ignition every time, just like it was fuel injected. The four wheel drive functions as it did from the factory however it has never been off road. Four wheel drive engaged only for maintenance. Windshield wipers, washers, signals, taillights, headlights, interior lights, everything down to the AC functions however the AC needs a charge. The locking hubs were upgraded to WARN manual hubs back in 2007 when the prior owner purchased it. He also replaced some rusted metal in the drivers floor pan with fresh, factory-correct panels. All the original labels, and paperwork are available to include the line setting ticket where it was designed and built in the factory back in 1980. Also, the original CVI equipment to include the tailgate insert, side louvers, rocker covers, and interior console are in great shape and in place (see pictures). The Scout has been kept in a garage since purchasing it from the original owner in 2007, and has only been driven for leisure and maintenance. The oil used is Mobile 1. Filters are K&N (Oil and Air). The interior is clean and sharp. There's a Kenwood cd player in the dash. Like all scouts, the top comes off, and I will include a convertible top with the purchase. The Scout is located in Nashville, Tennessee. I will consider reasonable offers. Selling my old project that ive not touched in years. I've done a lot of underline work to this Scout including brake system over haul front to back, clutch system overhaul (ex. salve/master cylinder, lines), rebuilt carburetor and fuel pump, new fuel line from tanks to pump, two metal tanks that need to be installed, rebuilt radiator, new belts and hoses, rebuilt water pump and then some. Only thing keeping this truck from starting and stopping under its own power is a battery, the two fuel tanks, and exhaust system needs to be installed. I have exhaust manifold, new gaskets and new down pipe. This truck does not come with a muffler or tail pipe. Don't get me wrong, you wont just jam the tanks in and roll, much work needed to be done to make it "Road Worthy" (ex. body work, tires, shocks, etc.), but to get it running and stopping under its own power, not much effort. Gas tank compartments need rebuilt which is where I stopped in this restoration. This is a single gas tank truck that I've purchased a second tank for. Fold down front window hardware all intact. I have videos of the truck running, power to all lights and features of truck, some extra parts included. trucking be sold "As Is", clear title, ask as many questions as possible to make sure this is the truck you want to bid on.

1972 International Scout II 4x4 Features include: *V-8 gas engine * Automatic transmission *Dana 30 front axle * Dana 44 rear axle * 4-wheel drive * Power steering * Factory AC * Bucket seats and center console * Factory AM-FM radio, clock, and heater * Brand new 31" all-terrain tires * Original chrome driver and passenger side mirrors * Fold and tumble rear bench seat in original fabric. Front seats have the original fabric beneath the new sheepskin covers This International Scout II is a BEAST! Runs very good and starts up every time. This is a true daily driver. Drives comfortably at highway speeds even. Brand new tires, less than 3 month old professional paint job in a period correct International Scout color. This truck lived the majority of its life in Mississippi, always being parked inside, and rarely driven. When it was sanded down for painting, there was virtually no body rust anywhere, which is highly unusual on these old Scouts. Since I have owned it, I have always parked it inside as well. There is no top included in this sale. I have never used one, as I prefer the top off. Although, you can buy a canvas convertible top online for around 1k. I had any and all rust in the interior sanded, treated, and then lined with lizard skin for sound reduction. Literally the only rust that was found was minimal surface rust under the vinyl floor coatings, which was all removed. All new brakes front and rear, and all new fluids within last 3 months, including a pretty comprehensive overall tuneup. Transmission has also been serviced in the last few months, including numerous seals and gaskets. This Scout is a true American beauty, and never ceases to break necks while you are driving down the street.

AWARD WINNING TRUCK - (Featured as the Grand Prize winner in the #HOWIROAM Blundstone & Ducati Competition) Sydney is a great friend to have. He's reliable, well looked after, and tons of fun. Sydney is a 1967 International Scout 800A. We have all the original documentation of the work done to him over his life, including everything we've done to sharpen him up over the past 5 years since we've owned him. He was bought in Colorado in 1971, but was driven to NY and from what we can gather, sat in a garage for 25 years. Very little rust on the chassis, and since we was covered in rhino liner, any body rust has been sanded out, re-welded and painted over. He has a 4 cyl, 152 ci slant 4 engine (original). Transmission is original and in great working order, though top speed with current transmission is 50mph. It would be very easy to drop a different transmission into the truck and drive at highway speeds without concern. Syd also has a removable hard top that is certainly in working order, but does need a new paint job and a little love, though a new hard top is probably cheaper. (www.scoutparts.com) has been very helpful finding new materials for building. The driver side windshield wipers are in perfect working order, but the passenger side isn't working. Syd runs 4 forward gears and 1 reverse gear. As was true with most trucks from this era, the first gear is geared very low, great for towing, and off-roading! Syd has a slight lift, only 3" but that's enough. We're asking $20,000 for him, and hope he can find a good home. Here is a list of the other work done to Syd over the past few years since we've owned him. 4 new U JointsBrand New Battery4 New PlugsNew Master CyclanderNew Brake Lines (plus fluid)New RadiatorNew Engine ThermostatNew Fuel LinesALL New Electrical Mounting Harness with Fuse SystemNew Driver and Passenger Seats with 4 sets of lap seat belts. All seats welds are new and mountings new.New Electric Fuel PumpNew Exhaust Manifold5 new Off Road TiresNew AlternatorNew Dual CarboratorEngine Cut Off System. iPhone Input Marine (Waterproof) Stereo SystemNew Emergency BrakeTotal Body LinX (Rhino-Liner) - This was to hold body condition and with added color. Really turns heads!New Rugs and floor mats2 O-Rings bolted to floor for attaching back seat covers or dog's leash (we used it for our dog)New Horn (very loud)Reverse Light Lenses are purchased but not installed, these will be included in the purchase as well. We have a clean title for the truck, it's fully insured and registered in the state of Nevada. We change the oil every 1500 miles just to be safe. We have documentation for the work done to Sydney from the late 1990's and on the Factory Service Manual are notes dating back to 1978. We also have an original Driver side seat that can be included in the price of the truck. When we replaced all the seats, we wanted comfort, so we opted for old Jeep CJ styled seats. The front seats are brand new, and the back seat bench folds down.

This is a 1980 IH Scout II body that the owner replaced with a fiberglass body. Half way through he realized he had made a huge mistake. The owners friend-body man talked him into the body swap even though he is an expert repairing metal bodies. He was the first one to admit they should have repaired the metal body as it would have been far cheaper, less hassle, and a better fit than the fiberglass body was. The metal body, doors, fenders, and tailgate were carefully dismantled as they reused the internal hardware in the new body. I have not seen the underside of the tub, but the body man said the inner rockers were good. I know from looking at the tub it will need outer rocker panels and a complete floor, of course much easier if the tub can be put on a rotisserie. The fenders and the doors have minor rust issues and half-ass repairs at the bottoms. The rear hatch door has minor rust and the inner fenders have some flat surface easy rust repairs needed. The tail gate, lower grill panel, and hood are all problem free. There are NO dents anywhere on any part of the whole body. There is no windshield frame. I will load 24 pictures but have twenty some others I can send if you are truly interested. Buyer must arrange shipping, but I may be able to help depending upon distance. I will load with forklift. upon payment I can store as long as you like. Feel free to email or call with any questions, calling is better as I'm not always near my computer. 302-381-0959.
