Offering a well restored 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This car restored to original ford specifications by Craig Danielson a local T-Bird enthusiast. The car was restored over several years with Craig completing most of the work for himself. He changed the car from Turquoise to Torch Red because he is color blind and the red was visually appealing to him. He completely restored the car closely following the Thunderbird authenticity concourse checklists. This included zinc plating all the nuts and bolts top and underneath. He deviated a little by installing a Mustang rear axle, five blade radiator fan and gel battery. This first year Bird 292 cu is great to drive with power steering and brakes and new shocks. Included are an updated white soft top, original red hard top, 3 sets of optional wheel covers (wire, emblem and small dog dish hubcaps) and original owner’s manual. The paint was done by Todd Hood { a well respected auto body painter in Tucson } several years ago with the car being garaged since the restoration. Have the receipts for the work completed on the car as well as some photo documentation.
