1957 Ford Thunderbird Stock# 2149-08 Dennis Buys Classic Cars is pleased to offer this immaculate 1957 Ford Thunderbird. It lived its entire life in inland Southern California. As a result we could not find one speck of rust. The owner of the car passed away and we purchased it from the son who found Dennis Buys Classic Cars by doing a Google search for "Sell My Classic Thunderbird". It is completely original with no modifications. It has all the desirable options: Both tops, with the soft top being brand new, 312 245HP motor, Automatic transmission, Power Steering, Power Windows, Town and Country radio and Power Seats. Body and paint are darn near flawless and chrome is excellent. We have clear title in hand. This is a list of the work we did on it and car will come with all receipts: Valve job, new carburetor (original will be included in the sale), complete new exhaust, battery, chrome air cleaner, much re-chroming, weatherstripping, new gas tank w/sending unit, oil sending unit, all fluids/filters, oil pump, fuel pump, starter, brake hoses, plugs-points-wires, power steering pump. The car runs beautifully. It fires right goes down the road straight with no clunks or rattles and does not get hot. It is a joy to drive and attracts attention wherever you go. We have put about two hundred miles on it since we tidied it up without a single mishap. For sale is a Solid Original California 1957 T Bird was purchased new and delivered to Covina Ca. then sold in 1971 only 2 miles away to Covina Ca have documentation. Driven till 2nd owner had health issues then family had stored in garage port in 1976 see pic). Based on sitting I had soaked the cylinders with marvels' oil and cleaned then turned over just fine a couple of days later. I have installed a new 4 row copper radiator with new hoses, new water pump, new belts, new fuel pump,cleaned fuel tank ,lines too, 4 new brake cylinders with new master, new tires , drives great has original 312 V8 with the Original Rebuilt Holley 4 BBl carb , new plugs , based on the nice condition I decided to use same plug wires and cap and points .I did notice there is a T10-4 speed trans shifts and drives great, No Rust anywhere solid all the way around . This car has original power steering, Power Brakes that do work. It does appear that it was an older HOT ROD based on the exhaust is dumped just past the seats with older cherry bombs and the T-Bird scripts where removed and both front and rear T-Bird Badges . The Four Speed trans that is in it does work great and fast. The car will need full restoration for those who want a Original car or drive as is, as I'm driving it so the miles will be more then posted . Please look over the all pics as they where taken in stages to a very nice driver but not fully finished 1957 T Bird with excellent patina at a affordable price.
