Barn Find!! 1963 Ford Thunderbird 2 door hardtop coupe with 390 V8 6.4L 4BBL with auto transmission, power brakes and power steering. The body is straight, the car starts right up and the transmission shifts. I acquired this classic t-bird car from a friend and it had been sitting for almost a decade. It was out of the DMV system when I got it but now has a clean California title. Its non-oped currently. It needs restored along with some paint and body work. There is a noticeable dent on drivers side front fender (please refer to pics) and other small dings and scratches and a couple minor pin holes (refer to pics). There is surface rust in various places (refer to pics) particularly the trunk and engine area but it appears minor however it is a 52 year old car so that’s to be expected for its age. There is an oil leak coming from the engine and it looks like it’s coming from the valve covers but I am not certain. Also, the transmission pan appears to have a slow leak. I would not drive the car until the engine, transmission, brakes and all mechanical and electrical components have been gone through by a professional mechanic. The muffler has a a hole in it and needs repaired or replaced. The interior needs re-upholstered and the headliner needs replaced. The gas gauge doesn't appear to work properly as well as the temp gauge. The chrome on the inside needs attention because it's pitted and rusty in some places. The battery tray is rusted and needs replaced and the weather stripping needs replaced in some areas. The headlights turn on and the heater vents blows air. Has original glass, gauges, radio, emblems, trim, lights and dash. Brand new battery and cables. The odometer reads 62,618 miles. I do not know if those are original miles or if the car has been rebuilt. If you have any questions regarding the car or its condition please ask.
