Previous owner said it was only at 131k miles and the motor drives as if it were only 31k. Very strong motor and transmission. Paint is about 5 years old, and shines very nicely as a factory match. This SHO starts, brakes, accelerates very well. No Check Engine lights and recently passed California Smog a couple months ago. Registration is valid through Sept. 2016. Leather trim with special cloth stitching is included in this one of a kind SHO with rear seats in immaculate condition. Front seats have expected leather wear/tear, worse on the Driver side. Electronic Lumbar and adjustments all function properly. It really hugs you if you want that tight feeling while driving the SHO in a spirited manner. Recent Tune-up of 60k service was completed. Oil and Filter, Crank and Cam Sensors, Timing belt, Accessory Belts, Spark Plugs and both dual mufflers. There is a very small oil drip that I see overnight around the oil pan area. The car appears to be lowered or may need maintenance with new struts. Tires have very good tread, but the rear show un-even wear on the inside, again, because the car is lowered or it may need new Struts and other suspension parts. As with all used cars, I recommend further inspection of suspension on the SHO. The car can be picked up after winning bid/offer and driven home and again drives very strong. I can assist with shipping for out of state buyers after full payment is made. It comes with a Kenwood Radio system, older but with a lot of 'techy' features including the tweeters on the door panels and remote. All windows go up and down. Passenger side rear door does not open from the outside. It does open from the inside. When you try to open, the mechanism for the door latch does not seem to be making contact with anything from the outside. The rear-view mirror is disconnected at the moment, I plan to have it re-attached before auction ends. AC needs a recharge, but it does have new adapters for new Freon system. Unknown if there is a leak in AC system. Clear California Title and Registration paid through Sept 2016 for California. All you need is the $15 transfer to DMV and Tax. For Sale- My 1994 Ford Taurus SHO, 5 speed manual 4 door sports car. Vehicle passed smog last year, and the registration is clear through Sept. 2016. I have had this car for the last 10 years as my daily driver, and it's time to move on to something a bit newer. It has been the best car I have ever owned, and it has never let me down. Here is the list of recently replaced or updated parts (within the last 18 months). - clutch assembly (sachs) - 4 tires (Pirelli, stock size) - 4 wheel brakes (drill/slot rotors with Hawk HPS pads) - LR Parking brake cable - Steering Rack (installed Non-VAPS model for tighter steering ratio) - Fuel Injectors - Valve cover gaskets and spark plug tube seals - Spark plugs and wires - Intake Manifold Gaskets - Lower control arms and ball joints - Outer tie rod ends - Front and Rear sway bar end links - Timing Belt (including tensioner pulley) - Fuel Pump (Walbro 155 model) - Heli-coil installed on rod shifter (to restore proper shifter "tightness") - A/C system Schrader valves (original were leaking, now has ice cold A/C) This vehicle consumes no oil (unless you drive it very hard) and has no leaks, I changed the oil every 3000 miles with Motorcraft 10w-40 synthetic blend and a Motorcraft FL-1A filter (adds nearly a quart to the capacity). The vehicle was purchased and driven in NC for most of its life with a recent move to CA. The car is rust free. Other goodies- HeatShield windshield reflector (custom fit for the windshield, seen in photos) tinted windows, Flowmaster style mufflers that have a nice mellow sound, Ford Racing shift knob, A-Pillar gauges (voltmeter, vacuum gauge, and oil pressure (the oil pressure is electric and does not read, I never installed the sending unit), Magnaflow high flow Y-pipe, aluminium subframe bushings, Alpine head unit and JL tweeters added, pre-wired for subwoofer system (30 A), SHO Shop style CAI installed, also comes with OEM air box, includes service manual and some additional parts such as a C&L 73mm MAF sensor, axle seals, the resonator pipe (explained below), engine oil seals ETC. The not so great- It is a 21 year old car with over 250K on it, some wear and tear is expected. It shows some age, but looks great for the year and mileage. The only things that are inoperative are the wipers (the switch is bad, but it still works to run the windshield cleaner system) and the air bag system (the spiral cable has a short, and I ended up disconnecting the airbag ECU to shut off the light- it flashes the code the entire time the vehicle is running and drives one crazy). There is also a rattle in the exhaust resonator that is RPM dependent, and that's why it comes with the pipe to fix it- it just needs to be welded in. The seats are a bit rough, but that is a very common issue with these cars (or any other car this old I would expect.) The interior is not perfect, but with some TLC it can look like new again. These older SHO's are a lot of fun and can still surprise some people. I will accept payment through PayPal only, and it must be paid in full within 7 days of purchase.
