For sale is my 2005 Ford Taurus....I've had this car for 18 months with no major problems. Been a reliable car. Took it down to Phoenix, Vegas, and Moab within the last 2 months It hasn't let me down yet. Only selling it because I will be moving soon and won't need this car. I'm going to be straight up with this car about it, the pros and cons. Pros: -It is a great freeway driver, that is where it excels -Awesome gas mileage for highway driving and large fuel tank -Very spacious -Good AC/Heat -CD player -Under 110K miles, still has a lot of life in it Cons: -Will need 2 back tires in the near future, the tread on those two are bad -Ever since I had it when you drive 20-30 minutes in the city or in high idles situations (where the speed limit is 25-30 mph constantly) the car will kick back out of first gear and sort of jerks ahead sometimes. I got used to it. Like I said it only happens if you drive it an extended period of time in the CITY without resting it (freeweay driving no problem extended time mixed with city driving for 20 minutes or so). This has been going on for a while and I've had it looked at but no problems came back. -Bumper has a crack on the back passenger side, been like that since I got it. Was going to fill it but it didn't bother me enough -Some scratches in the windshield on the passenger side due to old wiper blades it appears. Somewhat common problem. Overall this is a nice car for someone looking for a commuter, or a car at a very nice price. Feel free to contact me with questions.
