This beautiful classic was purchased brand new @ Trask Motors in Custer, South Dakota, and let me say that the original owner checked ALL of the right boxes when he ordered his brand new Galaxie XL. The Deluxe Marti Report shows that this 1969 Ford Galaxie XL Sportsroof is a (1) of (1) ordered with these options & color combinations. Factory options include: (Code T) Candy Apple Red Paint, (Code 8A) Black Clarion Knit Bucket Seats w/ Console, Black Vinyl Roof, (Code N) 429/360hp 4V Engine, (Code 5) 4-Speed Wide Ratio Manual Transmission, (Code R) 3.25 Traction-Lok Axle Ratio, Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, Heavy-Duty Handling Package, Tinted Glass Complete, Rear Window Defogger, AM Radio, Rear Seat Speaker and 8.55x15 White Sidewall Tires. Extensive original documentation includes: (2) Original Build Sheets, Original Window Sticker, (2) Original Owners Cards, Original Owners Manual, Original Warranty Booklet, Original Helpful Hints Brochure, Copy of Original Title, Original Registration Cards, Original Insurance Cards, Deluxe Marti Report and all of the service records from day one! I have never seen a classic car w/ this much original documentation! Every single time the original owner purchased gasoline he kept the receipt! The same goes for all oil changes or any other maintenance performed. The second owner completed a full frame-off restoration in 2010, and the final result is simply outstanding in every way! The original sheet metal is super straight all of the way around, and the correct Candy Apple Red paint is simply gorgeous! The chrome & stainless trim is in show quality condition throughout, and the black vinyl top is shiny & lustrous! You can walk around this car a hundred times and never find a bad angle. She sits on the original 15” steel wheels w/ original wheel covers wrapped w/ Firestone F70-15 Wide-Oval tires, which look outstanding. When you slide into the original black bucket seat interior, you will swear that it is 1969 all over again! I can’t emphasize enough how cool it is sitting in a Full-SizeFord w/ a 4-speed manual shifter coming out of the console! The interior is 95% original and in absolutely amazing condition from front to back. Everything appears factory stock throughout, w/ all gauges, lights blinkers, radio, etc. in perfect working order. The wrap-around interior styling of the ’69 Ford Galaxie XL is highly under-rated, period. I truly love the way it feels driving this Full-Size Ford muscle car, especially w/ the factory 4-speed shifter firmly in my right hand. The trunk area is nicely detailed throughout w/ the original jack assembly & Firestone Wide-Oval spare tire in place. Pop the hood & nestled inside the beautifully detailed engine bay you will find the factory correct 429ci 4V motor linked to the factory correct 4-Speed Top Loader transmission, feeding power to the factory correct 3.25 Traction-Lok rear axle. She fires up w/ the flick of the wrist and settles into a steady idle, just like she should. This big-block beauty runs, drives & performs perfectly in every way, and has loads of power & torque! Even w/ the skinny Firestone tires, it is really shocking just how nice this car feels on the road! The factory Power Steering & Power Disc Brakes makes driving around town effortless, and when you get on the freeway she goes, and goes strong! Another thing that I love about this car is how it sounds. This baby produces a low big-block rumble that says: “I may be big but I will still beat you to the next stoplight”! How many 4-Speed 429ci powered '69 Galaxie XL's have you seen lately? Not to mention an example that is 100% correct, absolutely beautiful in every way, & heavily documented w/ all of the vital paperwork that separates the thoroughbred classic cars from all the rest. There was over a million (1,014,731) Full-Size Fords built in 1969, and only 404 of those left the factory w/ the 429ci/4-Speed combo! That breaks down to a percentage of .0003, which is such an ultra-small fraction that it puts this car into the mega-rare category! Again, this 1969 Ford Galaxie XL is ONE OF ONE built w/ these colors & options, and when you factor in the condition, originality & incredible original documentation, well let’s just say that this is a blue-chip Ford classic if there ever was one! If you have been searching for a classic car that will separate you from all of the others, this is your car! Enclosed shipping is available anywhere in the world at the buyer’s expense. Buyer is responsible for shipping / pickup of vehicle. Currently parked at my house in Payson, Utah. Currently does not run. Needs a battery and carburetor probably needs to be cleaned out. Roof is removable (aftermarket) and is currently attached. It takes me about an hour to remove or attach the roof because it is so heavy. There is no radio installed and the speakers need to be replaced. Air conditioning is present but needs to be recharged. I bought this car in 1994 from my parents and fixed it up. I parked it in my garage in 2001 and haven't driven it since. Now it won't start even with a jump, but the engine turns over. It's probably just the carburetor.

The engine is a 352 V8 big block which makes it an easy upgrade to 390 or 427. The body is very straight, in great shape. Floorboards and trunk floor are in great shape. This baby was garaged for most of its life. New parts recently installed:-intake manifold to allow for a 4 barrel carb. -edelbrock 4 barrel carb-one wire alternator-electronic ignition distributor-wires-edelbrock valve covers-brake booster with dual reservoir master cylinder-water pump-thermostat-seat covers that match the interior of the car-The headliner has not been replaced, but I have the material for it. The rest of the interior is in good shape; dash, door panels, floor-new battery-ignition switchIt now runs very well. This car is a great candidate for a full resto. A dual exhaust system was installed by the previous owner, it sounds great!

1964 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible. Needs restoration or fix it as a as is driver. Engine runs good and convertible top goes up and down. Needs new vinyl top and interior upholstery. The transmission may need to be rebuilt. The forward gears are sluggish but reverse is positive. There is some rust cancer spots around rear wheel wells and in trunk. I bought the front fenders from another car that are in very good straight non rusted condition. Engine is not original to car. The engine is a 351 Windsor. I have owned it for several years hoping to restore it one day. I have to many projects and realize that I will not get to it. It has been stored in a barn for some time and I have started it once or twice a year just to keep it running. It will need to be checked and gone through. It has a clear title in my name.If you have any questions please let me know. I would like there to be no surprises. My phone number is: (435) 619-7118. The car is stored in my garage right now but if you need me to store it for a short time I will be moving it outside so that my wife can park her car back in the garage.A $250.00 deposit, by PayPal, is required within 24 hours of agreeing to buy the car.

Excellent condition. But not perfect. Its the original owner. Indoor storage. New ford ragtop has been installed only because the top was a little grey from the years past.. A collectors find. Very little needed body work and paint to be in show condition. Estate Sale. Car is in Utah will ship world wide. Buyer pays for shipping. Guaranteed to be a find for a collector looking for a 1965 Galaxy 500XL with the original 352 motor worth adding to their collection. No BS straight up seller. Pictures are as the car sits right now. Owner has past away. She always took the best care of her cars. Parked inside 95% of the time. Starts and runs perfect. Drive it home across the country with confidence. Recently tuned and timed. This car is a sweet car. I Really hate to see it go. There's no other find like this I'm sure. The rear window is glass and that also has recently been changed out with an original ford motor company replacement. Everything on this car works perfect. Even all the dash lights and kick ass AM radio ! Interior has no tears or obvious wear on it. The dash isn't cracked or anything wrong with it. The car has had no modifications anywhere except for a new carb and air cleaner and rims. I have the original air cleaner and original carburetor. The original rims had to be replaced because of the rust under the hub caps that went unnoticed by my mother for 50 years. Tires are new. She was very proud of this car. It was the very first car she purchased new. very carefully taken care of by her thru out the years. I had previously listed the car but the ebay site kicked me off before I could complete my listing and from there the site added what it thot should be. The car was originally listed as an auction and was supposed to have a reserve price of $15000.00. So that is my buy it now price. ok lets try this thing again and see how many interested people ask the stupidest questions. READ THE LISTING iVE PUT EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT THE CAR IN THE ADD. THERES NOT A POSSIBLE QUESTION THAT YOU COULD ASK THAT ISNT ANSWERED IN THE ADD. AND AS FOR ALL THE SCAM JACK ASSES THAT ARE OUT THERE TRYING TO RIP PEOPLE OFF. IM HIP TO YOUR STYLES AND WONT FALL FOR YOUR STORIES. ITS CASH AND DRIVE AWAY OR ILL SHIP IT ONCE I GET THE CASH IN HAND. C-A-S-H !

Stunningly stoic in its presence, you must admit there is nothing quite like the look of an early 60's Ford Muscle Car with its stuck up stance, snorting at you with a "Dual Quad 427 ‘R’ Code Engine". An American rocket glistening in the sun, waxed up, topped off and ready to go... Of course you can smell the high octane pump gas igniting your senses as you twist the key, looking across the flowing hood, your lap belt cinched tight, you release the clutch, your friend next to you tightens his seat belt, if he has one, you romp on the gas, igniting the rear skins. As it gets squirrely, your grin widens as you jam it into second gear! Sit back, relax and take a look at this muscle machine... NASCAR at its Finest! “THE BIG XL” This real deal FORD GALAXIE 500 XL has been fully restored to her Factory Original, very rare, "V" CHESTNUT exterior color and Factory Original "892" MATCHING CHESTNUT BUCKET SEAT, CENTER CONSOLE INTERIOR A car so iconic, so belligerent, so lacking in remorse, that Nascar Officials eventually banned the High Riser Engine! This absolutely gorgeous 1963 Galaxie 500 XL is equipped exactly how you would expect it to be in that year—Big Block 427 cubic inch engine producing a heart stopping 425 Horsepower, topped off by 2 Holley Dual Quad Carburetors and a Top Loading 4 speed Transmission. Of course there is the 3:25 Tru Trac Positraction rear end! A full restoration was completed about 7 years ago, and although the Monster exhibits nominal “Patina” and wear, it retains "the look". The paint was redone earlier this year in the CORRECT Factory Code and is base/clear, and is just exceptional. This expression is way over used, but it truly needs to be seen in person to be appreciated. Pictures just don't do the car or finish justice. Simply gorgeous!! No rust bubbles, scratches, dirt, dings, swirl marks, sand scratches, or issues. Please take note in the photos of the clarity of the paint as evidenced by the reflections in the background The undercarriage is extremely clean, very solid, straight, and rust free. During the restoration, it was cleaned and then painted black. There is Factory Undercoating and that has both good and bad elements: It looks unsightly (but only to the eye and not in the functional sense) but it does protect the car’s underside and is clear evidence that there are no panel replacements! That is to say that, despite its 52 years of gentle aging, there are no shoddy patch panels, holes, soft spots, or issues. The Trunk area is also very solid and looks great. The car rides, drives, and handles like a dream: Straight and smooth down the road with no shimmies, shakes, or vibrations. She’s extremely tight and surprisingly easy to drive with manual brakes and steering. My 427 has nice lines and everything fits and aligns very well--- doors, trunk, hood, etc. A correct, new Solid Chestnut Interior was installed, complete with seat covers, foam, headliner, carpet, door panels, weather strips, rubber, etc, and is exceptional. WHEN YOU SLIDE INSIDE, YOU WILL SWEAR THAT IT IS 1963 ALL OVER AGAIN!!! IT IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! All of the lights, turn signals, brakes, gauges, windows, etc are functioning properly, as are the Radio and Clock! You will notice the SUN TACH mounted on the steering column. At time of restoration, every ounce of this car was addressed. All chrome, stainless, and trim was either re-done or replaced. Same for the mechanicals such as brakes, shocks, fuel tank, sending unit( just replaced), wiring, etc. Simply put, this 500XL is turnkey!! Get in, sit down, hold on and drive her home. NOW LET’S GO UNDER THE HOOD WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS!!! The real deal 427 “R” Code Engine was built by DAVE SEVERSIKE, a Professional who has been building the Finest, Most Complete, Most Original 427 Center Oilers, Side Oilers, Top Oilers and an occasional “Cammer” for more than 20 years. He is the consummate Guru of Ford FE Engine Building. The Original Big Block, 390 cubic inch “Z” Code Engine gave its life in the pursuit of speed and power, so a REPLACEMENT 427 BLOCK WAS SOURCED FOR DUTY. Here are the Engine Specs: C3AE-AB Center Oiler Cross Bolted Block with NO Welded Repairs: Standard Bore Block that is Date Code Correct “3B12”—February 12, 1963; C3AE-AA Ford/TRW Forged Pistons, running approximately 9.5 to 1 compressions. Runs great on Pump Gas; C3AE-C Early 427 Heads; C3AE-H 2x4 Intake Manifold; C3AE Ford Long Cast Iron Headers; C3AE-BJ and C3AE-BK Correct Holley Carburetors; C2AE Correct Front Balancer/Damper; Correct Solid Lifter 427/425 Camshaft; Correct Dual Port Oil Filter Adapter; and, Correct Original Baldie Valve Covers Power flows through the rebuilt FORD Top Loader 4-SPEED TRANSMISSION to the CORRECT TRU TRAC 3:25 POSITRACTION REAR END. A SUN TACHOMETER SENDING UNIT BOX is on the Driver’s side fender well and operates as new!!! The UNMISTAKABLE AIR CLEANER and CORRECT BALDIE VALVE COVERS (with Badging) are virtually FLAWLESS as is everything else under the hood!! A SINGLE LINE MASTER BRAKE CYCLINDER testifies to the Authenticity and Correctness of the Engine Bay. No Power Brakes and No Power Steering here! A Spare Wheel and Complete Jack set are in place. The Original COWL TAG, as well as all correct stampings and castings, are in place. Unfortunately, the original wheels are long gone. In their place are vintage AMERICAN RACING STYLE “COKE BOTTLE/DAISY RIMS" running newer 15” Radial Tires. I do have the ORIGINAL BROADCAST SHEET and OWNER'S MANUAL. I TRULY FEEL THAT THIS 1963 FORD GALAXIE 500XL WITH ITS 427/425 “R” CODE ENGINE HAS TO BE ONE OF THE FINEST EXAMPLES IN EXISTENCE…PERIOD!!! IT IS AN INVESTMENT GRADE CAR IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD!!! YOU SIMPLY CAN’T GO WRONG WITH A CAR OF THIS STATURE!!! I’m a little older, retired, car guy. American Muscle Cars are my passion. I really need to sell this gorgeous 500XL and two others to free up needed garage space. The two others are a RARE Coronna Beige 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS with a real 409/409, dual quad, 4-speed, positraction and Black Bucket Seat Center Console Interior( Beach Boys sang about it) and a 1966 Plymouth Satellite with a 426 WEDGE engine, producing a dynode 581 HP, dual quads, 727 Torqueflite, positraction rear end, A/C, Power Steering, and Black Bucket Seat Center Console Interior--this Silver Bullet was a FINALIST (Top 10 car) at the 2013 Hot August Nights event in Reno, Nevada. I reserve the right to terminate this auction at any time and for any reason. My car is listed in other media. Although this is my first personal listing on EBay, my immediate family members have been EBAYERS for more than 16 years!! I can be reached at 562.209.2802. Ask for Rick.
