I was lucky to find this Ford F5 parked indoors and sitting on concrete with an empty rust free gas tank and only added the following before driving it home to its new garage. I replaced the wheel cylinders, calipers, brake lines, fuel pump, added an inline filter, new battery and literally fueled this truck started it and drove this home. It literally was a special moment. All Lights on the dash work, heater works, wipers need the vacuum line hooked up No breaks or chips to any of the glass. Push button start and manual choke work great. When found it had light surface rust on the floor boards due to wet boots. I wire wheeled all of the very light surface rust off of the floor pans, coated it with spray in bed liner added a custom made pad and then covered it with a replacement rubber floor mat. It looks good. I am showing pictures before I added spray in bed liner in the cab so you can see there was very little wrong with the floors, just wanted to neutralize the light rust that was there. Besides that all I added was a replacement back glass, all the other glass still has the script Ford safety marks on it. I also added a rear view dark glass mirror out of an old hotrod that looks killer. The truck was found on an old Hazelnut farm and was used sparingly to deliver nuts, and grain to the local mills. When I bought it had 4,135 miles on it as titled. I licensed it with modern plates but retained the original farm plates it came with. It has an Original Flathead 6 cylinder engine and it is geared low. No synchros means no downshifting this truck and double clutching is a must. I have the original manuals with the truck as well. 12 foot flatbed, no tilt. Built extremely well. The grain box is super stout and tough. thick tongue and grooved boards I also have a nice set of low stake rails for the truck as well. This is a once and lifetime opportunity. I have driven this truck to swap meets, and junk shows peddling my wares, and when you take those stake rails off you are rolling showroom. People notice you. THIS TRUCK BELONGED TO AN OLDER GENTLEMAN FROM LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA WHO UNFORTUNATELY PASSED, AND HE LEFT BEHIND SOME OLD PAPERS IN THE TRUCK SHOWING WHAT IT WAS BEING USED FOR. THE TRUCK COMES WITH A PTO DRIVEN DUMP BED, RARE TURNING SIGNALS ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE CAB, A TRUMPET HORN MOUNTED ON THE ROOF AND VERY COOL LIGHTS INCLUDING A SPOT LIGHT. IT HAS CALIFORNIA BLACK PLATES. THE TRUCK HAS BEEN SITTING IN A DRY LOCATION FOR A FEW YEARS WHERE I RESCUED IT BECAUSE THE OLD GIRL DESERVES ANOTHER CHANCE. THE BODY IS DECENT. IT DOES HAVE A COUPLE OF MINOR RUST SPOTS (SEE PICTURES). THE TRUCK ROLLS FINE SO LOADING IS NO PROBLEM ON THIS END. DUE TO THE AGE OF THE CAR, IT IS BEING SOLD AS IS. Here's a neat little 39 Ford all cleaned up and waiting for the next step, I was going to get it running and do a patch here and there so there was no long down time no panels needed just some little flat stuff, Truck has new windshield and back glass, new steel left rear fender on it and two new steel front fenders not on and not needed if you want to work with the originals, the right rear fender I think is the worst but is fixable, it's not missing a lot of parts and most are in good shape for this year a plus, the frame is mostly painted and looks to be in good shape, there are some new brake lines run from previous owner, other brake parts unknown as I hav'nt had a drum off to see, has real nice 1937 banjo steering wheel that I added, Have any Questions Please ask, first year for ford hydrolic brakes and last of the crank out windshield,

This is a late production 1935 Ford half ton short bed pickup that is titled as a 1936. It has 1935 body and hood with original 1936 gauges in dash. It has a 1937-1941 flathead V8 with manual floor shift transmission and was upgraded to hydraulic brakes. The body is in really nice condition overall with rust in the rocker panels below the doors and rust out where the running boards meet the rear fenders. New rocker panels are about $100 for this truck. This truck has an incredible patina. The rear fenders are cracked at the 12 O'clock position, the bed is in great shape and there is no cancerous rust in the cab. Truck has been sitting since 1995 in a garage when a water pump went out and the previous owner passed before replacing it. I had it running but it ran poorly and the master cylinder was frozen. I had the distributor and coil professionally rebuilt by Skip Haney in FL and purchased a new master cylinder that will bolt right in. This truck will need to have the gas tank cleaned, brakes inspected, water pumps replaced and some ignition wiring work to be a driver. Have not re-installed the distributor, coil, master cylinder or under dash resistor for 6 volt system. It's an original, complete truck with lots of potential and value with some basic mechanic work or can be converted into a cool rat rod with a clear coat over the patina. I have a clean California title with matching CA license plates. I also have the seat for it which will need redone and hubcaps.
