Hi There, I have decided to sell my truck. I finished this truck 6 years ago and have driven it about 15,000 miles since then. I am going to start a new project and need more room, so this one has to go. It runs good and the brakes work fine. I built this truck with parts from pre 1959 vehicles except for some gauges and such. It does get attention but for me it is a daily driver to work and such. It needs some work so you may want to take that into consideration. I have driven it to Ohio, Illinois and Kentucky, but I live dangerously. Please look at all of the photos before you ask questions. It is sold as is where is. If you want it shipped I'll drive to the nearest transport location for the pick up. The wheels are Kelsey Hayes wire spoke painted Porsche Red, rear tires are 750- 16 bias ply and fronts are 205-70-16 radials. The tires will need to be replaced in the next year or so. Some glass is cracked. I don't know what the headlights are? but they look great and work good. Tail lights are old and have real red glass lens's. The radiator was cleaned and repaired before installed. Engine is all standard/ stock and rebuilt, including starter and Holley carburetor. Oil bath air cleaner. Ford 3 speed manual transmission (rebuilt) with a aftermarket floor mounted shifter. Custom lake headers that have baffles in them, but they are still loud. Model A grill shell. Banjo Steering wheel, and original steering column and gear box. Stewart Warner "Green Line" gauges. Seat is out of a 99 Ford Windstar. Ford 8" rear end with 3.00-1 gears, open carrier and 28 spline axles. Original drum brakes. Bed was shortened about a foot. Harwood poly fuel cell, 12 Gallons. Electrical is vary basic and was converted to 12 volt and is still a generator system. 32 Amp output. Has an electric back up fuel pump but works off of the mechanical pump on the engine. Windows roll up and down but the tracks need to be replaced. Windshield cranks out and the cowl vent works. Squeaks and rattles. This is a true rat rod not some trailer queen. I express no warranty of any kind with this truck because it is over 77 years old. Please ask any questions before bidding. If you are more than 50 miles from Indianapolis I would recommend trailering it until you check it all out and make sure that you are OK with how it was all assembled. I have the title in my name and it is for this 1938 Ford truck. You are welcome to come by and look it over before bidding. Please look at the photos and ask any questions.

This 1940 Ford pickup drives well and was driven daily but has not been driven for a couple of months. There is no air, heating, or radio. A small electric fan set up inside. Classic 1940 Ford Pickup, all original body, no new or added metal, never had any rust or etc! This truck has been totally stripped down, primed and repainted, color is peterbilt red. The rear tail gate has been removed and rolled under, made solid for a very classic look. Has a dropped front end, 350 chevy engine 750 holley carb, 400 horse, auto tranny, chrome wire wheels, powder coat running boards with chrome ribs showing, tinted glass, this truck is complete except for upholstery, only reason not complete. Engine runs great, lights and guages work! The wiring is in complete, therefore wiring can be done to new owners specs, tilt steering wheel, all stewart warner gauges-chrome in dash. Has black bed cover, but snaps are not installed yet. It has never set out side, always stored inside my shop. Selling due to serious health issues. 1927 Ford Roadster Pickup Contact me for link to You Tube video Chassis: Custom made one off chassis with a four piece bolt in wrap around NASCAR type tubular cage which is concealed by the interior. Frame rails are 2" x 3" x .187 wall mild steel tubing. The cage is 1-1/4" O.D .120 wall mild steel tubing and the hoop is 1-5/8" OD.120 wall mild steel. This frame is completely tig welded and very ridged. Front Suspension: The custom made front suspension uses Heidt's polished Stainless steel rear steer spindles. Custom made tubular upper and lower control arms with stainless steel threaded adjusters. It has a Sweet narrowed polished aluminum rack and pinion with polished stainless inner and outer tie rods. QA1 billet aluminum adjustable coil over shocks have a 10 position dampening adjustment with chrome springs. Rear Suspension: The rear end is a 1957 Ford 9" with a 410 Currie posi. It has a custom made rear track locator and an adjustable rear four link. The rear shocks are QA1 billet aluminum adjustable coil over shocks and have a 10 position dampening adjustment. The shocks run off of custom made precision bell cranks mounted off the frame rail. Brakes: Front: Wilwoods aluminum hubs, 12.25" zinc washed rotors, vented, slotted and cross drilled. Wilwoods black anodized billet four piston calipers. Custom made polished aluminum caliper brackets. Rear: Wilwoods cast aluminum rear hats, 12.25" zinc washed rotors, vented, slotted and cross drilled. Wilwoods black anodized billet four piston calipers. Master cylinders: CNC triple master cylinders for front, rear and clutch with balance bar. Stainless steel brake lines with AN fittings. Tires and wheels: Kumho Ecsta X6 tires 265/45 ZR16 on the rear and 205/50 ZR15 on the front. The wheels are polished billet Halibrands 16" X 8" rears and 15" X 6" fronts. Engine: Chevy small block four bolt main 406 cu. in. 10.5:1 compression, Erson 1.6 roller rockers with World Class heads. It has a Quarter Master low clearance aluminum bellhousing with a 10" flywheel and a Quarter Master 7-1/4"dual disc clutch with a hydraulic throw out bearing. Custom made low clearance oil pan with two side tanks. Edelbrock dual quad intake hot coated, with two 500 cfm Edelbrock carbs., Mallory Unilite distributor, Custom made Sprint Car type headers and turn outs that are hot coated and a CSI billet aluminum electric water pump. Estimated horsepower is 425. The rotating assembly on this engine is extremely light and has incredible throttle response and it sounds as awesome as it runs. Transmission: The transmission is a completely rebuilt Borg Warner T-5 five speed from G-Force that is set up to handle over 500 ft. lbs. of torque. It has a short throw Hurst shifter with a custom made handle. Body: The body is a 1926-27 Ford fiberglass reproduction body from Lions Hot Rods. The steel 30" bed is a modified Model A bed from Brookfield Roadster. The paint is base coat clear coat in a metallic gun metal which is a Chrysler color and is tastefully pin striped in just the right places. The steel tonneau cover is powder coated in a black hammer tone to simulate vinyl. The tonneau cover and billet hinges are all custom made along with the roll pan. The tonneau cover hinges up to access the rear storage compartment and allows access to the rear suspension and the two Optima batteries. The tail lights are flush mounted in the back of the body above the bed and almost disappear until the brake lights come on. The steel grill is a 1929 Model A that has been chopped and sectioned. The headlights are 1934 Ford commercial with built in turn signals. It has Stewart Warner gauges, an Ididit steering column, a Lecarra steering wheel and a custom made Griffin aluminum radiator. Includes custom made California Custom car cover. A 2009 14" enclosed dual axle trailer is also available for this car.
