1936 Ford Pickup Excellent condition inside and out; smooth running 8RT 100hp Flathead V8 (the truck version of the 8BA), 1939 pedals and juice brakes (new master and wheel cylinders, lines, drums and shoes - stops straight!), rebuilt 1939 transmission (first year for good synchromesh - no double clutching necessary), 1935 wire wheels, excellent interior, new glass, restored period heater, all gauges work, Mitchell Manufacturing overdrive ($2,595 plus installation, but now it stays with highway traffic with ease (see photo of indicated 98mph), and it can be put back 100% stock in an afternoon), 12 volt alternator conversion (starts immediately no matter how cold it is and charges at idle), new lever action shocks and linkage, replacement wiring harnesses, body disassembled, restored, re-painted original Rock Moss Green and re-assembled with new hardware and welting last year. Reliable, nice driving, head turner. Original parts included. Garage kept and driven regularly. Mileage shown is post restoration. Original speedometer showed 44,000 miles when it stopped working, but there is no way to know if that was correct. I am the third owner. The original owner traded it in for a new truck in the early 60s, and the dealer held onto it until I bought it from him about 25 years ago.
