Up for sale is a rusty, but well optioned, highly original 1971 Mustang Mach 1. It is an M code, factory 351C-4V, with a C6 automatic transmission. The car has power windows, a fold-down rear seat, instrumentation group with a tachometer, oil, amp, and temperature gauges, competition suspension w/ front and rear sway bars and staggered rear shocks, air conditioning, full center console, front and rear spoilers, 14x7 steel wheels w/ trim rings and dog dish hub caps, dual exhaust with correct tips. It is a better parts car than a restoration project. Has nice front clip and rear quarters. Very nice, undamaged straight urethane front bumper. Very nice Mach 1 grille with no cracks or missing honeycomb pieces. Good used NASA hood. Has nice unbroken honeycomb taillight panel with nice flip open gas cap. Good used front and rear spoilers. Nice straight front and rear valances. Nice straight rear bumper. Nice full center console. Nice original dual exhaust trumpets with the part number stamped in them, with the original exhaust clamps. And on and on the parts on the car. Car will run as long as you pour gas in the carburetor. Lights come on, tachometer works,, Even the seat belt buzzer works. The car does not have brakes and will have to be hauled. Has all new wheel cylinders, shoes, drums have been turned, blasted and painted, but brake lines are rusted and will need to be replaced to have brakes. Steel wheels have been blasted and painted and have a good used set of tires that hold air. Power windows not presently working. The vehicle is located in Anniston, Alabama, approximately 10 miles away from I-20. Car will have to be winched on a trailer and hauled. It is not roadworthy. Car does not have a title. Vehicles in Alabama, prior to 1976, do not have titles. Buyer will receive a hand written Bill of Sale only. If this is a problem do not bid.
