This '23 T Bucket has only been driven rarely with an accurate mileage of 1952. It has been meticulously maintained and always kept indoors. This car has never been in the elements and has never been wrecked. And it is ready to be driven as far and as fast as you are willing. The owner wants to make room for a new acquisition, so the '23 has to go. The power to weight ratio is phenomenal as the body is made of fiberglass and the engine was dynoed at over 800 horsepower. The massive (21 inches wide) rear tires, coupled with a rear locker mean that the limitation on acceleration is your will power, not the car. It is exhilirating and somewhat freightening, but always controllable. The car is very well balanced and engineered. If you seek anonimity do not look at this car. You can not stop at any traffic light, gas station, or venue without being approached for conversation or pictures. I have driven it personally on several occassions for maintenance and tuning and the attention is always the same. This car was built from all new parts, except the bare engine block, transmission, and steering gear box which are rebuilt units. ENGINE The engine is a 530cid bored and stroked Big Block Chevrolet. 420 Mega Blower by B&M 2 -- 850 CFM Holley Double Pumper carbs built by Nickerson Performance Bowtie Hi Pro Cylinder Heads w/ Manley extreme duty 2.19" and 1.88" valves Mark IV Bowtie block bored .060 Crower Forged Crankshaft 4.375 Stroke Crower Forged Rods 6.386"/2.2" Arias Forged Pistons 7.5:1 Cam-Cam Hydraulic roller camshaft Crower hydraulic rollers Crane Cams roller rockers Stainless exhaust system with Jet Hot thermal coating TRANSMISSION The transmission is a heavily modified TH350 Unit with a deep sump pan and high performance clutch plates. It shifts flawlessly and can be can be manually shifted via the Locar shifter. BODY The body is a modern reproduction of fiberglass construction and is in excellent condition. You will never have to worry about rust and repairs are straight forward, if needed. The rear "bed" area contains the battery, stainless steel fuel tank, and tool kit. The paint is in excellent condition. There are a few light chips from use, but no scratches, cracks or other damage. IGNITION The ignition system is all MSD from the wires to the box. It has a MSD Marine grade distributor, Blaster coil, and MSD 6-BTM box with adjustment for boost. FUEL SYSTEM The fuel system consist of a braided AN fuel lines, two fuel pressure gauges, a BG fuel pressure regulator, Mallory electric 140GPH fuel pump. BRAKES The front brakes are four piston Willwood caliper disc brakes. There is a Speedway adjustable proportioning valve, stainless steel braided flex lines, and rear drum brakes. INTERIOR There is a full compliment of Auto Meter gauges including: fuel pressure, boost pressure, fuel level, speed, rpm, odometer, voltage, water temp, oil pressure, and oil temperature. The stereo consist of a remote mount CD changer with remote control and dash unit. And there are two 6x9 speakers mounted under the seat. The interior trim is flawless. There are no tears in the seats, door panel, carpert, or top. There is a boost dependent ignition retard control knob that works with the MSD ignition and a host of toggle switches to activate the electric fuel pump, cooling fans, and accessories. The car had indicators and hazards and all other lighting operates properly. There is no ashtray and no one has smoked in it. CHASSIS The frame is a modern ladder design and is in excellent condition. The front and rear suspension are chrome plated and utilize heim joints for location. There are wheelie bars to prevent the car from going over backwards. WHEELS AND TIRES The rear tires are massive Pro Track S/C 515/45/15 -- 21" width Rear wheels 15x16" The tread on the front and rear tires are over 75%. You will never have to worry about rust and repairs are straight forward, if needed. The rear "bed" area contains the battery, stainless steel fuel tank, and tool kit. The paint is in excellent condition. There are a few light chips from use, but no scratches, cracks or other damage. IGNITION The ignition system is all MSD from the wires to the box. It has a MSD Marine grade distributor, Blaster coil, and MSD 6-BTM box with adjustment for boost. FUEL SYSTEM The fuel system consist of a braided AN fuel lines, two fuel pressure gauges, a BG fuel pressure regulator, Mallory electric 140GPH fuel pump. BRAKES The front brakes are four piston Willwood caliper disc brakes. There is a Speedway adjustable proportioning valve, stainless steel braided flex lines, and rear drum brakes. INTERIOR There is a full compliment of Auto Meter gauges including: fuel pressure, boost pressure, fuel level, speed, rpm, odometer, voltage, water temp, oil pressure, and oil temperature. I'm selling my 1923 T Bucket pickup. It is a well built car and drives very nicely due to the IRS Jaguar rear end. It is a crowd pleaser wherever I take it. It has a 383 cu. in. Chevy stroker motor with approximately 8,000 miles on it. The motor has aluminum heads,roller cam and MSD ignition. It has a beautiful blue paint job with flames. There is chrome everywhere. I've replaced many parts including the battery,sparkplugs,sparkplug wires, chrome oil pan,front brakes,front calipers,master cylinder,fuel pump,front tires/tubes,electric fan,Auto Meter speedometer,roller rockers as well as a 650 Quick Fuel carburetor.( Carb in picture isn't the Quick Fuel) It was built in the 80's and does have a few chips but is in outstanding condition.
