One of the nicest, straightest, fox body's around. original Cabernet paint, original interior, 55,000 original miles. I am the 3rd owner, I bought it from the 2nd owner who had it since 1995 when it had 25,000 miles. All Vin tags correct, and in place. Exterior Moldings are clean, no signs of wear. Clean Carfax. Exterior is impressive, a few rock chips on the hood , dime size bubble on tailgate, and above quarter glass, VERY minimal, that have been there since 1995, and have not gotten worse, see pics. Garaged since new. Under side of the car is clean, no rust of any kind. Strut towers are perfect. Interior is near new besides driver kick plate which has a small crack around the screw closest to the pedals, besides that, really no signs of wear. All the doors and lift gate close perfectly, no sagging or uneven gaps in the door jams or hatch area. headliner is perfect, the Inside of the car has no foul odors, and still smells like a new 1988 mustang. Comes with owners manual. Tasteful mods to include Trick flow Twisted Wedge top end kit, heads, cam, Intake, BBk headers, x pipe to 2 1/2 inch PYPES stainless exhaust, ford racing lowering springs, all new Bilstein suspension, 3.73 gears, sn95 spindals with 99 to 04 GT front brakes. 5 lug conversion, Tires are Nittos 18/9 in front and 18/10 in the back with fr500 Black chrome wheels. All parts have less than 1500 miles on them. The only thing not working on the car is the ac, needs to be charged or converted. Car runs, drives, and sounds like it should. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding as I want to be as accurate and upfront as possible. I can send a video of the car running upon request as well as additional photos of the car, and of all the vin tags. I am extremely picky when looking at these cars, it took me 6 months to find this one after passing up 3 others that I looked at that were not described accurately. Please remember that this was a Police Car and it was driven like it was meant to be driven for the first 75,000 miles of its life. That means the lower radiator support may have scratches from crossing grassy medians at high speeds and other wear associated with Highway Patrol use. If you are looking for a really nice show car, this is it!!! If you are looking for a Flawless Mint Car, this is not your car!!! I would rate the car a 8.4 out of 10. I am very picky. I have owned over 30 of these cars since 1988 and have sold some from my collection for over $25,000. This is not the normal $5500 rusto mod you see on craigslist. The Carfax report is a little screwed up on odometer entry because the local inspector at the service station who completed the yearly safety inspection, just couldn't type in the correct miles into the state computer. The actual mileage is: 159,742, but the odometer on the car is only a 5 digit odometer showing 59,742. This Mustang CANNOT be driven in the State of Florida. This is a one owner Florida car that I purchased in Florida this past winter (still has ORIGINAL Florida title but technically I am the 2nd owner, it will go to the next owner as 2nd owner though) and drove it while I was there for about 500-600 miles and over here for about 500 miles as well! Florida cars have NEVER seen a pot hole or rough roads so they drive incredible because the shocks, front ends and body bushings do not get abused making them much better cars to drive!!! GO and drive a 60k mile NY, NJ, Conn. etc. car and then come and drive my 119k Florida car and you will see the difference!!! Not to mention that the Florida car hasn't seen any road salt either so there has never been any rust in this car! It is an LX 5.0 engine with 5 speed manual trans. which I would strongly believe are original to the car. The shifter is a close ratio aftermarket shifter that is crisp and shifts beautifully! It is a 1989 LX. The top is very very nice but a little dirty (could use light cleaning), interior is very nice (ALMOST LIKE NEW) and was redone 3k miles ago and overall the car is absolutely exc. I am a car collector and had no intentions of buying this, but when I saw it I just had to have it because of my car buying disease! lol It has pretty much every option and needs nothing for the most part! It is one of the cleanest ones you will find with anywhere near these miles and cleaner then most 30k mile cars! It does need the driver door most forward molding put on which have new and comes with car. It is the molding right in front of the mirror on top of the door. Up for sale is my beautiful all Original 48k mile 1993 vermillion red black tweed interior LX convertible.The car is a 3 owner car and spent its entire life in climate controlled garages,which is were it currently sits. Mechanically the car is flawless and drives like a brand new car, recent tune up including spark plugs,wire,fuel filter,oil/filter,fluids ect. All using motorcraft parts or ford racing. Car has a brand new set of bridgestone potenzas as the original tires were dry rotted. Car is tight and solid and really a dream to drive. No LEAKS anywhere including front or rear main seal.Exterior wise the original paint is flawless with no dings,scracthes,dents ect and shines better then some new cars. A handful of tiny rock chips on the hood but that's it. When the car is taken on any highways I always put the front bra on.original black vinyl top as awell also in great shape a slight fray here of their but otherwise perfect and no where needed to be replaced.Interior is black tweed once again all orginal and flawless. Covers are just on the seats to protect from UV Rays. Door panels are tight and bottom panels don't sag ect. Car is a prime example of a true survivor and becoming collectable.
