Centennial Editions could be found in the Mustang, F150, Explorer, Taurus and Focus model lines. Ford made only 717 Centennial Mustang coupes and 1323 convertibles, making the cars fairly rare. The limited editions only came in Ebony Black, after the Model T Ford of 1903 which Henry Ford is rumored to have said “You can have any color you want, as long as it’s black!”. They also included included Premium Verona-grain Imola leather seating surfaces in two-tone parchment, and the Mustang got the GT premium package which included 17? wheels, anti-lock brakes and traction control; dual exhaust; power driver’s seat with power lumbar support; leather-wrapped steering wheel; and Mach 460 AM/FM Stereo with six-disc CD changer, as well as 100th Anniversary badges on the fender and decklid and embossed on the seats. Owners also received a Ford history book, a black watch and key chain. The Centennial Package was a $995 upgrade. The Centennial Editions can be identified by the door post VIN sticker having an interior color code of “CH”. Normally you’d only see the “H” for Medium Parchment under the INT TRIM section, however the C denotes a Centennial version with the 100 year logo on the front seats.

The engine is the original 289 eng that was rebuilt 3k miles ago and runs like new with absolutely no smoke or noises of any kind! Original C code car V8. The paint is great driver quality with some crazing on the top of the front fenders, or checking as they call it, as it is now 15 years old. Other than that the paint has held up very well as there are minimal issues in the paint as far as scratches, nicks and chips. A good polish would really wake it up instantly! From 6 feet away the paint is a 9 out of 10! The chrome is beautiful, wheels are the same and tires have 70% tread left. The conv. top is very nice with 2 piece rear glass window, the interior is beautiful and the trunk and floors are great as you can see! You can drive this car to California tomorrow if you so desired! Overall just a great solid driver with no major issues and ready to enjoy the minute it is in your possession! This is a 2001 Mustang GT premium. It is in show room condition, if you are looking for a car this year or body style you will not find one in this shape. It is stock except chrome 20 inch wheels, aftermarket headlights, chrome front grills and Saleen styling convertible bar. Also I painted the rotors and calipers because I do carshows and I did not want to clean them and I wanted paint to stick good so I bought all new calipers and brake pads and oil has been changed every 2,500 miles, car was recently inspected, it needs nothing, this is a turn key and drive. I have taken an award at every show I attended this year for how clean the car is. This cars paint is perfect; professionally detailed and polished and has a paint sealant. Interior is in perfect shape, leather is like new, there are no rips. The convertible top is like new, no rips or fade marks.Everything on car works a/c blows ice cold. This car has only 42,000 original miles. I have clean car fax in hand, no accidents, clean title. It is manual transmission. This is a must see car for a 2001 you will not believe the condition.

This is a very nice 1997 Ford Mustang GT convertible. The back and front bumpers have minor scuffing on them, and the back bumper also has one minor imperfection on the driver side corner. It is a 5 speed manual, and has a mind blowing stereo system. It has a 12 inch sub and an equalizer. The convertible top works perfect. It has sequential break lights and turn signals. It has flow master exhaust and has the most amazing growl and crackles when you downshift, perhaps the most satisfying song in the world. Brand new performance tires, brand new performance brakes, and brand new bullet rims from americanmuscle.com. It has a 4.6L SOHC V8 and it is ready to drive. Runs great, virtually rust free besides some surface rust underneath due to it being from 1997 but this is all just surface rust underneath. It is a 1989 LX. The top is very very nice but a little dirty (could use light cleaning), interior is very nice (ALMOST LIKE NEW) and was redone 3k miles ago and overall the car is absolutely exc. I am a car collector and had no intentions of buying this, but when I saw it I just had to have it because of my car buying disease! lol It has pretty much every option and needs nothing for the most part!
