This '29 A pickup was the flagship rod for the Poor Boys hotrod club in Bishop, CA in the 1950's. The founding member moved to Southern Oregon in the early 1970's and stashed this incredible rod in a barn. 40 years later, a close friend and fellow club member discovered the '29 hidden under mountains of trash in the barn. This 100% true sheet metal '29 was sand blasted and nearly ZERO body filler was found. A complete "frame-off" restoration ensued including rebuilding, balancing and bluprinting the Oldsmobile Rocket V-8 the boys installed 6 decades ago. The hydromatic trans was fully remanufactured and every component was throughly restored to it's former glory. this is a true find that was lovingly restored by a member of the club with many years of early Ford restorations to his credit.
