According to Hagerty only 5,161 were ever produced. There are 67k + miles on Original Odometer reading, original mileage not documented. I stated in item specifics 67,000 for ease of filling the block. It come with original owners manual from 1967 with documented original owner name and date inside cover.This is a V8 390 Cubic Inch, Automatic. Not sure if this is the original motor. They did not serially track these motors until 1968 from what I know. It has upgraded Front Disk with Power Brakes & Steering. The convertible top works. Extra set of "Old School" American Racing Mag Wheels and Tires included with sale, they are in good condition. Nice driver quality in good running & driving condition with one repaint or driver restoration. Interior is in good condition, has front bucket seats, and console, rare option. Extra parts included are uncut dash panel for original radio, a few new rubber and seal pieces as well. The Engine runs smooth and does not smoke, Transmission shifts smooth, Lights work all around. The paint is not perfect, but looks very nice, wet sanded and buffed. Underside metal and frame looks good. After close inspection there seems to be filler in this Driver Quality Restoration, lower rockers, but hard to tell. The floor pans look good, only floor pan that was required and was repaired was the passengers rear. Doors close great, hood and trunk latches close and are secured. Driver Window may need work as it rolls down but requires some assistance rolling up. Horn does not work have new horn relay, or may need something else. Aftermarket oil, temp, and volt, gauges installed, stereo and rear trunk speakers. Air Shocks, leak. Visors and glove box liner need installed, visors missing attachment part. Seat belts latch but not sure of safety locks. I've tried to describe this as accurately as possible. This is an older driver restoration, it will require some work to be show quality or pass inspection in some states that require a horn.I have been authorized and am selling this in as is condition with no warranty for a friend of mine, his name is on the title and I have the Clean Title ready and signed by him for transfer. 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Box Top 390 4speed Hello, I have up for sale one of the Galaxies out of my private collection. I've owned this car now for about 16 years and it was one of about 20 in my collection. I've decided that I've got too many other projects and do not have enough time to dedicate towards this one. This is a true 390 4Speed, 5 trans code and 5 axle code. This is a black on black box top car. This is the only Galaxie out of the 35 years I've been collecting them that is truly rust free, this car has absolutely no rust and has never had any rust repaired, a true rust free body. Body: Rust free! The only rust free Galaxie I've seen or had in my collection. No major dents or dings! Interior: The interior in this car will need to be restored but is mostly intact. Powertrain: The car is being sold without a motor and trans. In all this is a great project car that could easily be completed and on the road, this car will be absolutely beautiful when its done!
