Their mechanics do comprehensive check ups and they'll give you a copy to see the notes etc. Even though their reviews were already so glowing, and their reputation of integrity was so loud, I needed to have an outside mechanic check the van before dropping $15,000. They had no problem with that, as long as you bring the van back the same day. The mechanic I found, also in Palo Alto, gave the car a totally clean bill of health. He pointed out one small cosmetic detail that did not affect the vehicle's performance at all, almost as if he wanted me to feel I was getting my money's worth. I waited until now to review to add credibility to the review, and my experience with the vehicle after some miles. Every van on the lot is beautiful. They don't carry bad trucks. 3 generations of good business, why muddle those waters with bad vehicles. The staff let me look at whatever I wanted to. Test drives were laid back. I got plenty of "alone time" with the vehicle without anyone breathing down my neck. It took three visits for me to finalize my choice and they didn't make me feel like a burden. Their mechanics do comprehensive check ups and they'll give you a copy to see the notes etc. Even though their reviews were already so glowing, and their reputation of integrity was so loud, I needed to have an outside mechanic check the van before dropping $15,000. They had no problem with that, as long as you bring the van back the same day. The mechanic I found, also in Palo Alto, gave the car a totally clean bill of health. He pointed out one small cosmetic detail that did not affect the vehicle's performance at all, almost as if he wanted me to feel I was getting my money's worth. This truck is in great shape, better shape than its age and miles would suggest, and for some mysterious reason, significantly cheaper than a similar Silverado 3500. Although 143500 miles is a significant number, consider this: At 60 MPH, this big V10 engine runs at 1700 RPM, while at 70MPH, engine is at only 1900 RPM.
