For those of you who remember when you got your car fueled up the attendant that ran out to fill your car up? That was me.... it is where I started my journey into the car business, at 14 I walked down to my uncles Texaco station in south central PA, after football practice, I'd put on my striped shirt and greeted the customers filled them up, checked the oil, washed the windows and whatever else I could do to get tips;). He let me in the garage when I got to high school and did engine work, brakes, welding and just about everything else but where I really excelled is when he started selling cars, I enjoyed helping customers find the car or truck or there dreams. I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees, 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot, we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened this small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I'm an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion), and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. If you give me the opportunity I promise I will do everything in my power not to let you down... I know these old cummins diesel/and 7.3's trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rust and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to Southern California,Texas, and other west coast and southern states to buy a few clean rustfree 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast. 1997 F350 Crew Cab Diesel 7.3 4x4 rust free restored This awesome 97 was a southern rust free truck that was restored to be an everyday driver show quality truck. This was restored to be my personal vehicle and no effort was spared. I have a need to sell it, unfortunately, and you have a chance to own a head turner that is reliable and nearly perfect. The body was rust free to start. Very rare. All body panels, bed, glass, doors, and bed were removed to be coated in PPG viper bright white with a two tone atomic orange Chevrolet burnt orange. This paint job cost me $10,000. The frame was stripped and coated in por 15 rust encapsulator, the under carriage was cleaned, scuffed, and undercoated, and is absolutely perfect. The engine has never been modified and runs perfect, I have added an air box, 6 position switch and a stainless steel exhaust. This truck has never been off road and I purchased it from an individual that cared for it meticulously. I searched for this truck for two years. This truck has 196000 miles on it and drives awesome. The transmission was rebuilt at 165000 miles and the rear differential was rebuilt 200 miles ago. Does not blow black smoke and has many miles ahead of it. The entire suspension is new sky jacker (4 inch lift), shocks, bushings, spring hangers, steering stabilizer, sway bars, and springs. New gas tanks as well. Brand new Pro Comp 35” tires with new custom rims. Truck has current PA inspection and the A/C blows cool as it should. Interior is stock with custom made front seat covers with a wide custom full console, from an expedition with usb and power outlets front and back. The exterior has new chrome bumpers, mirrors, Line X bed liner, windshield, grille, headlights, taillights, and anything else it needed to make perfect. I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees, 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot, we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened a small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I'm an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion), and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. I know these old cummins diesel/and 7.3's trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. Body/paint very clean Frame is mint since it was from the Texas-New Mexico area where rust don't exist, recipt for reman tranny, really runs excellent, good front end, rubber ok for now, no chips lifts or mods 100 percent bone stock owner was 65 years old and not into hot rodding his truck, interior decent everything working just fine inside. Truck was personally owned not used for heavy towing and a full array of service history from Ford. Just hit the key and that beautiful powerstroke is purring, no smoke, blow by or leaks just pure music to your ears. Strong tranny just serviced(rebuilt at 180K record at Ford Dealer in Colorado) excellent rubber, brake, ball jonits, exhaut, shes got the power, also real tight tracking down the intertate at 75-80. Body/paint /frame is super clean no rust no denting/scrapes ect just real nice gloss and very sharp. Interior non smoker interior in also mint shape, no stains, smells rips or tears or dash cracking. All options working cold air and hot heat, you can tell with 1 look and drive previous owner had a lot of pride in thi unit, no chips mods or programmers it is pure stock even the factory alcola alloy wheels! Tires are close to new, good bakes, performance 4 inch exhaust, programmer, like new rubber, tight front end. Real clean body no rust, good clean frame and oil pan ect. Interior also looking good. Has some paint flake on clear coat in spots, bed has some typical dings, an other wear and tear issues associated with this year and miles but overall real clean not rusty good solid truck in good running shape. Price is firm and priced to sell too, its first come basis, don't wait it will be gone, not too many 7.3 clean crew 1 ton 4by's out there in this price that are not rotted out,,, I'm Tom the 7.3 man 38 years experience not many out there with this kind of 7.3 wisdom
