This truck came from the factory with a 302 2v engine, and 3-speed C4 automatic transmission, both of which have been rebuilt and are in fantastic working order. It is a turn-key runner and driver, and in very sound condition all around.Specifics as follows: -One older repaint in White and Gray, not a great job but an overall good-looking and sound paint job -Very straight body in all respects; no major damage -Very nice trim including new front bumper, restored grill, new XLT side trim, etc.-Good windshield, new tinted side- and back glass -Engine is the original 302 2v rebuilt including a cam, rings, bearings, oil pump, etc.-Transmission is the C4 automatic, also rebuilt -New dual exhaust system sounds fantastic -Interior is very decent and includes a newly-upholstered bench seat, and headliner -Chrome modular wheels with decent radial tires -Good power steering and power brakes -Runs and drives beautifully As you can see, the truck is in very nice overall condition, with straight body panels and a sound older "15-footer" repaint still showing nicely. There is very little rust to mention: some minor blistering in some body seam areas, down low, but nothing through or major Overall, the truck appears to be very sound. Mechanically outstanding, the 302 Cleveland engine was rebuilt at some time in the recent past, and features a slightly bigger cam, new rings, bearings, oil pump, timing set, etc. as well as a newer dual exhaust system. Easy starts, smooth running. The interior is nice and features new seat upholstery, and a new headliner. Clear title in hand, matches the VIN exactly for export or inspection. Please be prepared to pay in full within three days of auction's end via cash, major bank cashier's check (must wait for funds to clear issuing bank PRIOR to releasing the vehicle and/or paperwork), deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank-to-bank funds transfer. 1974 Ford F100 VIN: F10JRS82944 Wimbledon White, with Sequoia Brown accents. Ginger breathable knitted vinyl seat. 84,000 original miles. This truck was ordered new July 30, 1973, delivered Oct 17, 1973, and kept by the same family till 2012. The options ordered were: Ranger XLT package (Exterior - bright-finish windshield and rear window molding, drip rail molding, rocker panel and wheel lip molding, tailgate appliqué, tail light bezels, tailgate moldings top and bottom, Ranger XLT grille and side script, body side molding with bright finish and vinyl inserts, bright tail gate handle depression), (Interior – steering wheel – black with wood grain insert, convenience group which includes: under hood light, cargo box light, glove box lock and light, 12” day/night mirror, door map pockets, and ash tray light, color keyed floor mats, carpet texture with heel pad, cigarette lighter, color keyed door panels with pleated vinyl upper panel and wood grain accented moldings and map pockets, instrument panel molding bright finish with wood grain accents, Ranger XLT plaque on glove box door, sound absorbing insulation in roof, floor and doors, headliner and sun visors color keyed in vinyl, bright seat pivot arm covers ), tool stowage box, power steering, H78x15-B black sidewall tires, heavy duty towing package, air conditioning, tinted glass, mid-ship fuel tank with standard tank, and 460 4V V8 engine (EGR emissions system, reduced sound level exhaust system, 80-amp hour battery, extra-cooling radiator, heavy duty transmission cooler, high output heater and 5000/5100 GVW package, rated at 238 hp @ 4200 rpm and 380 tq @2600 rpm) 5500 lb GVW package. Also included in this truck: C6 transmission, 3.25 open dif rear end, dual mirrors, and sliding rear window. According to Marti Auto Works, this truck is 1 of 114 with these options. With the exception of, upgraded wheels and newer tires, aftermarket rear bumper, older spray in bed liner, bed caps, exhaust with headers, paint, dealer installed am/fm/8 track stereo, sliding rear window, air horns and tach, this truck is bone stock. This vehicle retains all dealer brochures, window sticker, dealer order guide, protecto plate, most of the service history and full Marti report! In the past 10k miles, we have installed a new starter, timing cover gaskets, timing chain gear set, water pump, front brake pads/rotors/calipers/brake lines, rear brake shoes and wheel slave cylinders, connecting rod/alignment, windshield, carb rebuilt, transmission rebuilt, with new torque converter, universal joints, valve cover gaskets, shocks, alternator, belts, radiator, thermostat, radiator hoses, heater hoses, wheels and tires, heater control valve, exhaust system, horn relay, steering column, battery, complete tune up including PCV valve, distributor cap/rotor, timing adjusted, heater core, ignition control module, ignition pick up coil, and complete fluid service plus much more! The truck was repainted 2003. Known issues are: There is a small oil leak, when it sits for several weeks, I notice a silver dollar size oil drop on the driveway. The main fuel tank does not work, when switched, the truck runs for a minute, then dies. The A/C does not work. There is a small rust hole in the bed. The paint is thin in areas, at a distance, it is presentable. The steering wheel has cracks. The passenger side header leaks. The original seat has a tiny hole on the drivers side. The carpet is faded. There are nicks, and scratches around and inside the truck. This is a nice classic original truck, that with a little work, could be a really nice truck for show, or play. I would recommend having the truck inspected at the buyers expense. There are several shops around me that can do this.
