I have a beautiful clean 1963 fairlane sports coupe for sale, All stock all original unmolested solid car. It still has the original 260 V8 engine and automatic tranny. Nothing has been changed or altered everything is as it came from the ford factory. It also has a rare color combination of ROSE BEIGE exterior paint with the original black interior. Absolutely stunning when repainted back to show room quality , Rose beige was a one year only color for the 1963 Ford Car models for that year. All the interior is there nothing is missing, the seats work great , the emblems are there as well as the side hinge plastic covers. The headliner is not all torn up , none of the trim is missing, all the emblems are there. The bumpers are still bright and shiny front and rears are in great shape not dented or rusty. The grill and all the side moldings are in fantastic shape nothing missing. Car was never hit everything appears solid and clean. The engine is very strong doesn't smoke or knock, the tranny shifts good doesn't leak fluid . this is the original drive train and engine with 91k original miles. The average value for this vehicle is: $16,787* History of the 1962-1965 Ford Fairlane Ford transferred the Fairlane nameplate to its new "senior compact” line for 1962. The downsized Fairlane was 11.7" shorter than regular Fords, but 16.5" longer than the Falcon. A Ford six or new 221-cid OHV V8 powered the new cars. The mid-year Fairlane 500 (pillared) Sport Coupe came with buckets and console. A 260-cid V8 and four-speed manual transmission were optional. For 1963, the nicely restyled Fairlane Sport Coupe became a true hardtop. New Fairlane wagons included a faux-wood paneled Squire. Late in 1963, Ford introduced its hot 271-hp 289 V8 in Fairlane. Substantially upgraded styling kept 1964 Fairlanes competitive with Chevy's new Chevelle—and a Ford 427-cid V8 made that year's limited run of Fairlane-based Thunderbolt drag cars more than competitive. A new Fairlane look appeared for 1965, as the car shared heavily sculpted sheetmetal with that year's Mercury Comet. Rectangular tail lamps replaced formerly round units. The pleasingly styled 1962-65 Fairlane 500s are scarce, but generally quite affordable today—Thunderbolts excluded! An authentic Hi-Po V8/4-speed Fairlane can be a super Ford bargain.
