1981 Ford F-100, Custom Standard Cab, 4.9L (6) 300 It runs great with the original 4.9L 6, 300, C6 auto tranny, factory power steering, factory power disc front brakes, factory AC and Owner’s Manual; it has only 104,493 low miles. It has new battery and cables, new muffler, new catalectic converter, new tail pipe. Tranny shifts great but kick down rod needs to be installed to perform correctly. This truck is all original and stock except for the radio; I installed a new AM/FM stereo that looks original and mounted in the original place with no modifications to the dash. History: This truck is a survivor. I purchased it from the original owners family in 11/06/2014 it had not run for over 4 years because the owner installed a high performance carburetor and manifold and had not made the final connections of the electrical, carburetor, transmission kick down rod and vacuum system. Because this was not done by a professional mechanic I traded the high performance system for the original OEM carburetor and manifold. After changing the oil and put in new gas it started right up and runs great. Because the kick down rod is not installed you have to shift manually and the transmission seems to work just great. EXTERIOR: The entire truck has a very straight body with only a few small dings and two small rust spots, one on the driver’s side rear bed and one on the passenger’s rear cab (see photos). The paint has some scratches but still looks good, would need a new paint job to look sharp and complete the restoration. It has new tires, catalytic converter, muffler, tail pipe, rear brakes, windshield, windshield wipers, spark plugs, alternator, voltage regulator, all new belts, parking brake cables and chrome front end. INTERIOR: The interior has new carpet, seat cover, sun visors, dash, weather stripping around doors and windows. This truck has been 85% restored and is an everyday driver that you can maintain yourself, or finish restoring it. LMC TRUCK has everything you would need to complete the restoration. I have driven it all over my neighborhood. I have a list of all new parts that I installed. This truck is being sold as is, where is, with NO warranty. I am selling my 1965 Ford F100 Custom cab short bed truck. It has 4 speed on the floor and a 352 V8 with upgraded manifold and carburetor. It has been painted flat black and looks great. I painted it myself so it is not a profession shop paint job. I sanded off the paint and found the original ford white underneath. I did not take it down to the metal. The body is very straight with no visible rust. I did find a spot of rust inside the cab on the passengers side kick panel. The original owner had a camper shell on it most of its life so the bed is exceptional!! This truck is a daily driver. I have not had a single issue driving it over the last eight months. I have been on long drives over 3 hrs both in cold and hot weather. It gets up to 108 degrees here in Sacramento CA. I installed new black carpet and the floor boards looked good. I took a couple photos before I put the carpet down if you would like to see them. The truck rides very smooth and has been very reliable for me here in Sacramento CA. Dual exhaust, upgraded carb, manifold & radiator. New tires (less than 100 miles), new carpet, new window and door seals. This is a great truck and a good buy. I did change out the original dash panel which had 90,000 miles on it. The replacement panel shows 28,000. All the lights work. The gas and oil gauge do not work now. I am still trying to figure out the problem so it may be fixed by the time you purchase. The seat was reupholstered by the previous owner. Looks good but shows wear especially the white section. Great seat and has three seat belts. New front windshield and rubber. Back and door glass is in good shape.
