Up for sale is my 2005 F-250 XL Super Cab Long Bed 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel in white with 188k miles. The features and upgrades are as follows: Integrated tow package with brake control and Tow mode Professionally applied Spray-in bed liner Rear Air ride suspension with digital in-cab control New Rancho RS9000XL Fully Adjustable shocks on the front and the rear New Mishimoto performance All-Aluminum radiator (installed at 188k miles) SCT Livewire TS Tuner and monitor with Eco, Tow, and Performance tunes installed ARP Head Studs, new valves and OEM Head gasket installed at 180k Miles EGR Delete New Thermostat New Toyo Open Country tires New Alternator and Batteries New Stand pipes and dummy plugs Turbo cleaning at 178K miles Full Transmission and Diff service at 177k miles Oil (replaced with Shell Rotella T6) and Coolant flush (replaced with Cat EC-1) at 185k Miles Both Fuel Filters replaced at 188k miles XDP Coolant Filter kit with 4x replacement filters (installed and then removed, can be installed at buyer’s request) The truck rides well and has been a great help when I had to move in the early summer, as was the reason I bought it. Since then it has been driven to work once a week on Fridays and never really pushed. The only tune ever used on the SCT was the eco tune. The truck does haves some rough edges to include some dents dings and is by no means a show truck, see the pictures for a better look at these. Bottom line is that the coolant system is being pressurized and I think it’s the head gasket. I have paperwork for when the last owner had the head gasket done (and paperwork for almost everything else the last owner did), but I don’t see any charge for machining the heads and I believe this to be the cause for the recent failure. I am a reasonably mechanically inclined individual but replacing the head gaskets on this truck is a job that is just over my head and paying someone to do it is out of my budget. I know there was no malice intended in it but I got screwed by the last owner not doing the fix correctly. I am losing money but it lets me get out of a loan. USAA currently has the title for the truck and I am willing to do the transaction at the local branch and sign a notarized bill of sale at the time to ease any worries of the buyer. If you have any questions, please ask.
