2004 FORD EXPLORER XLT 4 door SUV, Excellent condition with only 11,200 original miles!!! (Not a typo....11,200 original miles) This is a California SUV and it has never seen snow...except through the window of my garage the day of this listing for the very first time. It is equipped with all of the typical XLT features....power windows, locks, mirrors, cruise, tilt, front & optional rear air conditioning, running boards, third row seating, AM/FM/CD, etc. The original sticker price back in 2004 was over $32,000. There are no cracks in the dash, no rips or tears on the seats, no rust or dents on the paint, and it has not been smoked in. Very clean!! I'm sure everyone wants to know if I'm the original owner....No, I'm not. In fact, I just purchased it less than a week ago from the original owner. Her husband was the primary driver of the vehicle and he recently passed away. The reason I purchased this SUV is because earlier this year I bought a really nice low mileage F-350 in about as nice of condition as this Explorer. I want to park the truck for the winter because it has never seen snow either, so I thought I would buy another vehicle to commute to work and do my daily errands. I am NOT selling the Explorer because there are any issues with it...actually it's just the opposite. The vehicle is so nice, it's almost a crime to drive it in the snow and park it outside throughout the harsh Utah winters and the blistering hot summers. I drove the vehicle home from California and it performed great; it is a joy to drive. There were no issues whatsoever. The previous owner replaced the tires with nice Firestones in April and they had under a hundred miles on them before my trip back to Utah...that shows how little the vehicle was driven. The photos in the listing were taken 12/14/2015, the day after I got home from California and I have not even washed the vehicle, that's how clean it was when I purchased it. (No snow the day of the photos and 6"-8" the day of this listing- but it parked in the garage) The title is free & clear and is "open" meaning the buyer will be the second official owner. Rims as in the picture look real good. New radiator, spark plugs and high performance coils and throttle body injection. K&N filter and other things I’m forgetting. Early Spark plug replacement is a must for these Ford engines. They are notorious for plugs breaking off in the cylinder heads. This is a very expensive procedure and has already been taken care of here. All common problems with these explorers has been addressed and fixed on this explorer even if it didn’t need it. All this extra and costly work was preformed to avoid any future breakdowns.
