Hi, Im a dealer that sells trucks and vans..today we have a 2011 e250 Extended body cargo van w/ only 54,000 miles! RUNS GREAT, v8 auto trans, not too many bells and whistles, just a great running low mileage work van. This van was in an accident, it was hit of the left rear corner. Fortunately, there's nothing there but a tail light and sheetmetal. So we had a professional body shop cut out the bent part, properly weld in a new ( sheetmetal only, no frame at all ) body panel and then refinish it. Looks GREAT, you'd be hard pressed to even notice the repair. Because of the accident, the van did get a salvage title, so financing will be difficult..This same van ( without the salvage ) is worth $19500 ( see chart below ) SAVE $8000 on a great van that I ( the owner ) personally drove this van from Reno, NV to San Diego, then SD to Las Vegas and back..ran perfectly and got right around 20 MPG ! If you're like most ( cargo ) van owners, you'll probably keep this forever, and at 200,000 miles when it's time to get rid of it - the salvage just wont matter any more!
