DESCRIPTION: (OVERVIEW): WE'VE OWNED THIS 1-TON, '86 E-350 "CLUB WAGON" FOR OVER 8 YEARS. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN REGISTERED IN INLAND (DRY) SAN DIEGO COUNTY. IT COMES WITHOUT THE REAR SEATS (we used it for hauling; there's over 10 feet behind the front bucket seats now). FOR SOME REASON, THE DRIP RAILS STARTED RUSTING YEARS AGO (COMMON PROBLEM WITH FORDS? NOT DUE TO ROAD SALT, OR SALTY AIR!). THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS VERY CLEAN AND RUST-FREE. NO HOLES OR RUST IN THE LOWER PANELS OR FENDERS. JUST IN THE ROOF (INCLUDING A GAPING HOLE NEXT TO THE D/S CORNER OF THE WINDSHIELD - JUST WANT TO DISCLOSE THAT - not pictured). (THE GREAT): INTERIOR HAS A PERFECT LOOKING ORIG. FULL DASH PAD (COVERED WITH 3 LAYERS ON WINDSHIELD! NO CUTS!) IT HAS A REBUILT ENGINE (w/only 26,700 miles), BEBUILT TRANSMISSION (w/only 5,554 miles), REAR AXLE (similar low miles) AND STEERING GEAR BOX (w/only 1 mile so far!). THE COST OF THESE REBUILT ITEMS FAR EXCEEDS WHAT I'M ASKING FOR THE VAN. THEN --- I'M INCLUDING WITH THE SALE --- TWO NEW SENDING UNITS/FUEL PUMPS FOR THE TWIN GAS TANKS (cost over $300), AND OTHER NEW PARTS (INCLUDING A NEW P/S PUMP w/reservoir & NEW HOSES & AUTO TRANS FLUID - ATF). THE PARTS JUST NEED INSTALLING. THIS VAN HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT, AND IS STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW (only dent is on old rear bumper; that's why I bought a brand new one to replace it - cost $350). REAR SEATS REMOVED & DISCARDED TO USE AS CARGO VAN (they are gone, please acknowledge this). HAS ALL WINDOWS (4 THAT OPEN AT AN ANGLE FOR VENTILATION), AND THEY ARE ALL TINTED. NEW TIRES INCLUDED*. ALSO COMES WITH AN NOS REAR BUMPER (PERFECT CONDITION), THAT NEEDS INSTALLING. VERY LUXURIOUS INTERIOR FOR AN E-SERIES VAN (P/W P/LOCKS, CRUISE, A/C, TILT, etc.) (THE NOT-SO-GREAT): THE ROOF RAILS HAD RUSTED FROM IMPROPER PAINT PREP (IT WAS REPAINTED IN 2002). THE RUST WAS GROUND DOWN ALL AROUND, BUT IT STILL NEEDS WELDING/FILLING. THE FOUR PANELS/SECTIONS AROUND THE WINDSHIELD COULD STAND REPLACING, AS WELL AS THE WINDSHIELD (CRACKED). MECHANICALLY, IT IS IN EXCELLENT/OUTSTANDING CONDITION FOR 190K MILES. ALSO COMES WITH A NEW ELECTRIC CHOKE, WHICH NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED BEFORE SMOG TEST (will show very low emissions - I have old smog test). EXTENSIVE WORK HAS BEEN DONE TO THE ENGINE (METICULOUS TUNE-UP AND PARTS, INCLUDING WIRES, SNORKLE HOSE, BATTERY BY-PASS SWITCH, OIL PSI SWITCH, ETC.). COMPRESSION READINGS ARE ALL VERY EVEN (149 - 157 psi**; this is a low-compression 460 engine). INTERIOR CARPET IS VERY GOOD, AS IS THE HEADLINER AND DOOR PANELS. ALL ELECTRIC WORKS, INCLUDING WINDOWS. JUST HAD A RBLT POWER STEERING GEAR BOX INSTALLED. BRAKES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. VAN HAS A HEAVILY REINFORCED TYPE III REECE RECEIVER-HITCH. THIS VAN WILL PULL A BUILDING OFF OF ITS FOUNDATION! LOTS OF GUTS, AND VERY, VERY SMOOTH & QUIET... REASON FOR SELLING: NOT BEING USED! RECENT DOUBLE HERNIA OPERATION! (can't begin to lift what I used to). LIST OF BRAND NEW PARTS INCLUDED: 1) N.O.S. REAR BUMPER (perfect, stunning chrome. A 10/10 in condition); 2) NEW OVAL GRILLE "FORD" BADGE/EMBLEM; 3) NEW FUEL PUMPS w/ SENDING UNITS (one for each gas tank - cost over $300); REBUILT P/S PUMP w/reservoir; EDELMAN P/S HOSES (I think there are 2); (9) QTS OF TYPE "F" ATF; NEW OIL FILTER; (1) NEW THERMOSTATIC CHOKE FOR CARBURETOR; misc small parts... FACTORY OPTIONS: ELECTRIC WINDOWS ON FRONT DOORS (work good); A/C (WORKED IN 2007-08, WHEN LAST USED; not sure now!); TILT WHEEL (I think - will double check); CRUISE/CONTROL; P/LOCKS; AM/FM/CASSETTE; NICE BLUE CLOTH INTERIOR AND DELUXE DOOR/INTEROIR PANELS, PRETTY GOOD HEADLINER (just needs 1 seam sown)... * WITH BUY-IT-NOW PRICE. THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE THAT THE MAGS THAT GO WITH THESE NEW TIRES (0 miles) RUB ON THE CALIPERS (or something - I felt a scraping noise down there when driving it around the block). IF THAT IS THE CASE, I HAVE THE ORIG. WHEELS WITH MICHELIN TIRES (over 2/3rds tread left; only on a vehicle 2 years) TO REPLACE THEM. THE NEW TIRES ARE SIZE LT265/75R-16. THE ORIG. TIRE SIZE ON THE ORIG. HEAVY DUTY WHEELS AND MASSIVE LUG NUTS IS 235/80R-16 (taller, and slightly narrower). BOTH THE NEW AND USED TIRES HAVE BEEN METICULOUSLY COATED INSIDE AND OUT WITH STP, 303 AND/OR NEW FORMULA ARMORALL, AFTER BEING CLEANED. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS IF THIS ISSUE IS CONFUSING (I'M SYMPATHETIC)! ** #4 cyl. is about 174 psi. Could be due to a little carbon built up on top of piston, due to old choke that didn't open fully. Engine runs exceedingly smooth and quiet (very still). I have a brand new Motorcraft choke that comes with the vehicle.

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Hi there, I am selling my 1966 Ford Falcon Club Wagon, same family as the Ford Econoline just with windows. I am looking for $4,000 or best offer. It has a 170 ci inline six with a aftermarket 3 speed floor shifter. It is an Heavy Duty version so it has upgraded drum brakes, leaf springs, and the 9 inch rear end with 4.11 gearing from the factory.I purchased this van a few years ago from a nice family that had owned the van since new. It was passed within members of the family a couple times but I am the first owner outside the family. It was purchased new in Los Angeles back in 1966 by the grandfather and was driven on many road trips between SoCal and Mexico, including some trips as far as Guadalajara. My wife and I purchased it to be our surf wagon aka “the swagon”. I have done some work to get it running okay and had plans to do a complete restoration to it. Unfortunately for this particular van I was able to find an all original 1967 van that will be a much better starting point for my restoration, hence the reason this van is for sale. I have a lot of extra pieces that I may include if I get my asking price of $4000. The asking price includes a complete front end to use as patch panels to fix the rust along the windshield frame and the cut dash speaker grill. Additionally, a set of 5 14” Cragar S/S wheels will be included. They will need to be refinished but would look good on the van. The van does have bench seats in it but they are not orginal and are not currently bolted down. The van currently runs but the engine is low on power going up hills. I would recommend a carb tune and tune up. All four wheel cylinders were replaced and the entire brake system bleed and serviced. I was planning on doing an engine swap and have a 250 ci inline six out of a 1970s Maverick that can be installed (though you will need a different transmission) available for an extra $300. V8s can be installed with minor work as well. Please check out a walkthrough of the van here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_d7S6EmLm4&feature=youtu.beNo warranty implied, buyer responsible for shipping though I will help in any way I can to make process smooth. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of placing an accepted offer and make arrangements for payment. A $1000 deposit is due within 48 hours of close of the auction. The balance is due within 1 week of auction close and all financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. If no contact is made within 72 hours I reserve the right to relist the van! Van is also listed for sale locally, so listing may be removed at anytime. These vans are awesome and always turn heads. I just don’t have room for two of them at the moment. Please email me with any and all questions. Thanks, Matt
