*For more pictures please scroll down I'm selling my father's 2001 Ford Crown Victoria LX -This Crown Vic has 112'000 miles which is way less than a similar car of the same year driven by Police or Taxi companies-The car is in good shape. The engine is working well and smooth-No unusual noise can be heard from the engine bay or interior-The car rides smooth with no shake or rattle-The car doesn’t need an alignment service-There's no crack on the dashboard, which means the car hasn't been under the direct sunlight for too long-The Interior was kept well by previous owner(s). In fact it was one of the main reasons we chose this car when purchasing. If you have been looking around for Crown Victorias for a while, you’ve certainly noticed the horrible condition, material, color and smell of those crown vics previously used as police or taxi fleet vehicles-LX model comes with many extra features and differences compared to GS model, one of them being Aluminum wheels and they are $150 each on ebay Main additional features that LS has over the lower GS model:-Premium Leather seats (You get stuck in cloth seats when getting in and out of the vehicle)-Digital instrument cluster (everything is digital, from the speedometer to engine temperature)-Digital climate control panel-Power 8-way front seats-Front seat power lumbar support-Front light sensor and front lights-off timer-Keyfob (All doors remote lock-unlock)-Driver door keyless entry (A 5 digits code to enter the vehicle in case you left the key lying around inside the car and locked yourself out of it)-Compass integrated into rearview mirror- Power and remote trunk release-Power fuel door release-Rear armrest Below are the two things that doesn’t work properly or need to be repaired or replaced-The hot air hoses of air conditioning system has been caught off, so there's no hot air unless you put new hoses-Up until 2001, a part of the manifold on these Fords were made from plastic which over time gets cracked. This one is no exception either. Sometimes, you can notice small amounts of coolant around the manifold housing but there's no serious loosing of coolant. If you want, you can easily put a new manifold on the car; It’s $170 and you can replace it yourself by watching how it’s done in a couple of YouTube videos Things that I’ve repaired or replaced on this car:If you’re familiar with Ford, it has a sub company called “Motorcraft” which sells Ford’s genuine parts. Everything I’ve replaced on this car, has been nothing but Motorcraft and I have the receipt for most of those Item-8 Motorcraft platinum spark plugs-Motorcraft thermostat and thermostat sealing O-ring-Motorcraft 5-W30 Engine Oil-Motorcraft Ford Crown Victoria specific engine coolant and Anti-Freeze, mixed with 50% distilled water-Motorcraft radiator reserve tank cap-8 Spark plug coil boots (They deliver electricity from the coil to the spark plugs.
