I bought this car in 1998 with 123 miles on it. It is original except for the Borla exhaust I installed, smoothie tubes and K & N Air filter also installed by me. I have the original exhaust system too. It has Khumo tires with about 1,000 miles on them. You may not find a more pristine example of a true American classic. About 5 years ago I had a minor passenger door incident that was repaired by the best Viper body shop in the midwest the door skin was replaced. The reason to sell? Don't hesitate on this one it should not last long. The American Club Racing (ACR) model was introduced in 1999. This model had suspension and engine enhancements focused on maximizing performance in road racing and autocross environments. Horsepower was, by the use of K&N air filters and smooth intake tubes, bumped to 460 hp (370 kW) in these models, while torque increased to 500 lb·ft (678 N·m). Weight was reduced by over 50 pounds (23 kg) by stripping the interior and removing other non-essential items such as the fog lamps (replacing them with brake ducts). The new stiffer, adjustable suspension removed another 14 pounds (6.4 kg) These models, which also have engine and handling modifications, has an "ACR" badge and 20-spoke BBS wheels. They are wider than the original rims and tires and the tires are better rubber. They are also much lighter. Those rims and tires are over 4500 dollars new. Most Vipers for sale that I have seen need new tires. Brand new here.Eibach rear springs.Stock rims with about 50% wear on tires and stock springs included. All rims are in excellent condition. The underneath of this car is as clean as the rest of it.
