We are pleased to offer this very clean, original, 2 owner Datsun 280Z. This is a Blue plate California car with no rust. We have inspected this Datsun and it is as solid as they come, no signs of rust, or accidents. The mileage is 74000 which we guarantee. The engine is the original straight 6 with fuel injection, the transmission is 5-speed manual. This Datsun is running great, it just passed the strict California Smog test with ease. The exterior is the original Pacific Blue metallic which appears to be original factory finish, the interior is Cream cloth and leatherette. This is a 2 owner car that was purchased new in Los Angeles, the owner then moved to the Central Coast of California where the car has lived until now. The 2nd owner purchased the car about 10 years ago and owned until present. I doubt if there is a more original rust free example for sale at this time, this really is a rare find. We have just serviced this Datsun, we have replaced the brakes, wheel cylinders and clutch slave cylinder. This is due to the car being garaged for the last several years. The A/C compressor is new and works correctly, also we replaced the A/C condenser, the system is now blowing ice cold air. We have also replaced the exhaust muffler. The drive of this Datsun is remarkable, this car was way ahead of its competition in 1978. It does everything right, handles great, the engine is smooth and responsive, the transmission shifts correctly with good syncros, the clutch is fine, and the suspension rides firmly.
