It was designed by California Custom Coach in Pasadena. The one prototype and five production cars that were assembled were built by cutting two cars in half which, when mated together, extended the wheelbase of the vehicle by 30 inches. Because of the economic climate of the time and the fact that a base-model Corvette sold for around $13,000, the $35,000 price tag of the four-door was deemed unaffordable. Only five production cars were built, each one custom designed for the buyer.Because of the customized doors, there is no provision for exterior door latches. Opening the door was achieved by punching in a code on the keypad on the driver-side windshield by the A-pillar. All the door latches operated electronically. Also, the rear window opens hatchback-style, an idea that would make it to production, although not for another two years, in the '82 Corvette. This is believed to be one of the only surviving four-door production Corvette in existence. The others were destroyed in accidents and by neglect.

I am selling my 1995 Buick Riviera SC. The Supercharger went out recently, and it's not feasible all things considered on my part to invest in a replacement. I have other options, but would like to allow someone with appreciation for these great cars the opportunity to take up this offer. You don't see all too many of these on the roads these days, and when fully functional make for great sleepers. Aside from the Supercharger needing to be swapped, the AC doesn't work, but the blower motor/air works. Also, there are a few cosmetic/body dings. Aside from that, from time to time she idled rough, of which I feel is likely the IAC Valve. I replaced the TPS previously. Slight vacuum leak as the air shocks run a minute after the car is turned off (minor issue). It has low mileage for it's age, and with a few repairs should have a long road life to it. God bless.

I am selling my 1972 Buick Riviera, of which is currently on non-op status. It needs a thorough restoration, but is perfect for the father/son project, or admirer of these beautiful cars. I just don't have the time to do as I had intended, and that is a full rebuild. I have the engine removed from the vehicle, fully disassembled and ready for a rebuild. I have the block, a brand new set of pistons and rings (.60) ready to install once the cylinder wells have been bored, both heads (one needs the rockers and shaft), and all the rest of the parts affiliated with the engine. The original rims are included, boxed and in the rear passenger seating area. There is a fair amount of rust, but it's not irreparable. Painted carbon fiber hood 2002 style ($1500 after paint & install) Stainless exhaust that preforms & sounds awesome. Sat.nav stereo with large screen. Factory NSX car cover. Sway bars & lowered 2 inches but retains perfect ride. Just about perfect interior! Read more below... and DON'T miss on this great NSX. $10K+ plus in extras. Up for auction is my 1992 Acura NSX that was a special ordered with black paint & black/ivory leather interior. It has the $4000 optional automatic trans and EPS steering. There are only 55 1992 NSX's with the highly desirable black/black ivory combo. It's a California car, which means: mild climate with virtually no rain or harsh weather (or salt on the roads after winter). This car has been VERY well taken care of... and would show GREAT if the cars odometer read only 30K miles... let alone the 96K it does show. You won't find a nicer one, I promise. It looks like a 10 out of 10 and it runs/drives like a 10 out of 10. It needs nothing... except for maybe a new black spoiler lip on the front bumper (that's scuffed up). I have a brand new lower spoiler lip in a bag that was purchased from the dealer (that I'll put in the trunk). ;o) There are 45 larger format photos down below this text, which show even better detail. Keep scrolling down to view them. This special '92 NSX has been professionally lowered 2 inches & it still rides absolutely perfect. Not harsh ride at all. It has the desirable 2002 "Facelift" with HID headlight upgrade to get away from the dated pop-up look that the 92's came with. Along with the HID headlights it also has a carbon fiber hood (painted black). A nice set of PIAA during lights which switch from bright white to yellow at the flick of a button, make night time driving a pleasure. $1,200 was recently spend on tuning up the A/C so it continues to blow ice-cold for the next 20 years!! It has a set of aftermarket sway bars that allow this NSX to take corners at unbelievable speeds with zero sway or leaning. It has a high-dollar NSX-specific car cover. It has a very nice a Pioneer double DIN stereo with integrated Navigation (maps) that can burn a CD to its built-in memory along with a map of where your driving taking up the entire stereo screen. It also has a built in subwoofer in passenger side that doesn't inhibit room on the passenger side. The front windshield is like brand new... no stone chips etc... you can drive towards the sun without glare problem! Titanium shift knob, NSX floormats, Tinted windows, Airbags, like new leather interior, new rear tires etc... etc... If you didn't already know, the NSX was Japans answer to Italy & Ferrari... The NSX beat Ferrari in every way they possibly could. If you've owned a Ferrari you know how nice the NSX is. It has perfect exterior visibility, which makes it very easy to see outside the car, which is difficult in most sports cars. It features an all aluminum monocoque body along with an extruded aluminum alloy frame, & suspension to keep the car as lightweight as possible. It also has an aluminum body (which saves over 450 pounds compared to steel). The aluminum suspension saves another 50 lbs. It has a 4 channel ABS system & titanium connecting rods which permit reliable high-RPM operation (8,000 RPM redline!!). Honda/Acura had F1 race car champ A. Senna spend much of his time giving them critiques on how to make the car ride & handle better (& owned 3 NSX's himself, he liked them so much). This car has the optional ($4,000 extra) automatic trans. with EPS steering. The "Electric Power Steering" option steers very easy, and much nicer than a car not equipped with EPS. You'll see the light lit on top the instrument cluster in my video. This car was VERY well taken care of as you see in the photos. The engine has always been "so-clean-you-could-eat-off-it." The seats & rest of the interior- the same way! Almost brand new condition. The car received a new black paint job a few years back which looks outstanding. The air conditioner was recently tuned-up to blow ice-cold ($1,200). It has a brand new pair of rear tires (leas than 100 miles on them). Front tires are good to go.
