It presents well as seen in the photos, but don’t expect to roll up and see a cream puff. An afternoon with a sander to strip this Y-body done to base, and another day with a carefully applied paint job will double the presentation and value of this great cruiser. Frame: Solid with no rust or signs of collision repair Engine: The L-48 350 V8 SBC engine starts and runs well. This is the numbers matching heads and block. Previous owner had the motor rebuilt. Performance upgrades include headers, Holley dual plane aluminum performance intake with a Jet Stage 1 Performance Quadrajet. I know little else about internals I’m guessing a stock or very mild performance camshaft. Car starts easily and features an electric choke. Throttle is responsive, with no flat spots or hesitations, no smoke on start up, or when you are on the road. No noises either and holds excellent oil pressure and runs steady at 180 degrees. I have taken several trips in excess of 4 hours, non-stop with no issues. The A/C compressor is missing along with the brackets to mount it. No doubt due to the installation of headers. However these brackets are readily available from any performance retailer such as Summit Racing or Jegs. Otherwise the condenser and related equipment is all present to bring back into operation. Exhaust: As mentioned before, this car is equipped with headers, and the install is clean and professional. Brand new chamber exhaust system gives this old classic a nice roar Transmission: Factory original automatic, shifts firm, fluid is clean and clear. Some seepage around the pan gasket Interior: The factory original black interior is complete, with leather seats. The seats will need recovering as there is some tears in the passenger seat. Features new carpet and dash looks new. The factory radio has been replaced with an aftermarket Sanyo AM/FM Cassette radio that fits well, turns on but no sound. I’m not sure the speakers are hooked up. It is also missing the antenna shaft. The only other issue is the fuel gauge reads inaccurately. Other options include tilt steering with telescopic wheel, and power windows. As mentioned previously it is also an A/C equipped car but inoperative. Brakes: Power brakes have been completely serviced including new brake lines and function as designed and reliably. Suspension: Complete with factory equipped front and rear stabilizer/roll bars and factory power steering. Rides like any Corvette, a little harsh but no rattles or noises. Very solid and well maintained. Tires/Wheels: New tires are mounted on factory 15 X 8 Rally Wheels. The front trim rings may not be the correct deep dish trim rings but look good on the car. As mentioned these cars are climbing in popularity, and this car with it’s subtle upgrades makes it even more fun to drive. It is a great candidate for the hobbyist on a budget but has the basic skills to build some sweat equity in it as a rolling restoration. A great handyman’s special you can fix up and recoup your investment at resale. And did I mention driving it the whole time! Please inspect the pictures and ask questions. This car fresh out of the barn and there is no reserve on the auction. This car is a little rough perhaps it is basically a parts car, or but I have seen far worse restored to pristine condition and this one has some good bones. It is missing the motor but is otherwise pretty complete. If you are restoring a car like this, it would be a great car to pick the parts you need for your restoration and sell off the rest and break even or perhaps make a little extra to fund your restoration. Priced to sell! Finish -- Grade D-: Very weathered, appears it may have been re-painted since new. Body -- Grade C-: Body has some great sheet metal; doors, trunk lid, hood and front fenders are very solid and rust free. Please view photos closely. Drivers quarter, front floorboards and trunk have heavy rust Trim Code info: Body Color Trim Date DSO Axle Trans63A P 76 04B 57 1 4 Frame -- Grade B-: Some scale but solid with no rust or damage. Frame is straight and never damaged in an accident. Bumpers - Grade C-: Bumpers are straight originals with patina. Bright work – Grade B : All trim is on the car. Other then some some very light patina is all original and will clean up well. Glass Grade B+ : All original glass in very good condition. All rubber and fuzzies are original and will need replacement. Interior D- : It has been disassembled, unsure why, however appears complete other them missing rear bottom seat cushions, some water and rodent damage Wheels Grade OK : Factory correct steel wheels 14 X 6 missing factory original hubcaps Tires Grade C : Early bias ply tires, weather checking, excellent tread, holds air, rolls down the road smooth, no idea on the age, will need to be replaced due to age. Suspension Grade OK: Visual check, is complete with no signs of damage. Exhaust Grade NOT OK: No exhaust system whatsoever. Rear-end Grade OK: Numbers matching original rear 9 inch factory differential. Transmission Grade OK: Out of car but is the original transmission Brakes Grade E: Power Brakes with drums all around. Missing power booster and master cylinder Engine Grade E: Missing engine but do have the radiator, carb and generator. Summary: I see this as a great car for parts for your restoration, if you are restoring a car this would be a great car to pick the parts you need from and sell off the rest and break even or even make a little extra to fund your restoration. I have seen far worse restored, and this could be a great base for a restoration/hot rod project due it being fairly complete and really cheap. Car also comes with two great resource books, The Thunderbird Restoration Guide by William Wonder and the Thunderbird Chronicles Coffee Table book. Interior of this G35 is fair other than the ripped driver seat, just normal 71K mile wear (please see photos for better details). All power accessories function properly. All four tires are new and brakes are in excellent shape with plenty of life remaining. Please note that we try our best to describe all of our inventory, but these cars are used and not brand new and will have certain amount of wear and tear. Vehicle holds a Michigan Rebuilt Title. When we got this vehicle from an insurance company, it sustained minor impact to the front left side. Hood, bumper cover, both fenders and headlights were the body parts that were replaced. There was no engine or transmission damage. Exterior of the G35 has minor dents and scratches, we tried to provide as much photos as possible of the dings and such. 4-Wheel alignment was done along with an oil change. Something we think should be also pointed out is that the rear trunk spoiler has paint fading on it, it's not pealing or anything just some fading going on, does not look like a factory paint job on it.This is a great daily driver for somebody, powerful enough but still comfortable!We do not get a lot of these type of cars in, but when we do, they do not last long. Its 2001 Mercedes S500 with only 75,000 mls. It has V8 engine and 5 speed automatic transmission. It run and drive really good, it has AMG wheels 275/40 R18 on the back and 145/45 R18 on front with sport tires that have more then 50% . This car has heated electronic black leather sets in perfect condition. it includes GPS and 6CD changer. its silver exterior with only few little scratches. This car carries a rebuild title. The damage was on the right side of the vehicle, and car was professionally repaired (2 right door was changed). It has passed the state of Michigan safety inspection satisfactorily.it will now transfer and register like any other vehicle.
