This car has been restored to it's original condition which includes NEW PAINT (2015 Mustang Race Red...which is close to the original color), new bumpers, all new brakes, shocks, new carpet, drivers seat repaired, new radio w/ CD and Bluetooth installed in the car's original radio bezel, new stripes, motor detailed with new Edelbrock intake and 4-barrel carb. and full dual exhaust. Also brand new Magnum 500 wheels and tires! Starts, runs and shifts great. Car was a San Diego California car until 2013 when I purchased from original owners son (was owned by his mother). Well cared for with a solid body. The car was a factory air conditioned car, but parts under the hood were removed. I saved all parts in a bin (see pic).The shop that fixed seat and replaced carpet also fixed a dry tear in headliner in back sail panel. They put a vinyl patch on both side to match. looks alright but if somebody wanted the car perfect , they could replace headliner. I think its fine. Also plastic shifter bezel is deteriorated. I purchased a new one twice, but they were not the right ones. The car shifts fine just the shifter is a little lose. Otherwise the interior is excellent condition but I wanted to be sure to note the few little quirks that keep this car from being PERFECT. This car is a show stopper... it always draws a crowd! This car fresh out of the barn and there is no reserve on the auction. This car is a little rough perhaps it is basically a parts car, or but I have seen far worse restored to pristine condition and this one has some good bones. It is missing the motor but is otherwise pretty complete. If you are restoring a car like this, it would be a great car to pick the parts you need for your restoration and sell off the rest and break even or perhaps make a little extra to fund your restoration. Priced to sell! Finish -- Grade D-: Very weathered, appears it may have been re-painted since new. Body -- Grade C-: Body has some great sheet metal; doors, trunk lid, hood and front fenders are very solid and rust free. Please view photos closely. Suspension Grade OK: Visual check, is complete with no signs of damage. Exhaust Grade NOT OK: No exhaust system whatsoever. Rear-end Grade OK: Numbers matching original rear 9 inch factory differential. Transmission Grade OK: Out of car but is the original transmission Brakes Grade E: Power Brakes with drums all around. Missing power booster and master cylinder Engine Grade E: Missing engine but do have the radiator, carb and generator. Summary: I see this as a great car for parts for your restoration, if you are restoring a car this would be a great car to pick the parts you need from and sell off the rest and break even or even make a little extra to fund your restoration. I have seen far worse restored, and this could be a great base for a restoration/hot rod project due it being fairly complete and really cheap.
