Excellent example of the coveted 993 Porsche. Rare white body with black leather and 6-speed manual transmission.1995 Porsche 911 Carrera C2 sunroof coupe. You know the story, last of the air cooled, best looking, best driving, penultimate Porsche. This car is box stock, unmolested, rust free. 84000 miles. Strong motor, smooth shifting, fresh clutch and brakes. Tires 80%. There are a few imperfections but nothing to apologize for; common minor rock chips, one scratched wheel, one very inconspicuous spot on the rear bumper cover and one that would be hidden by the front license plate cover. A small chip on the lower edge of the windshield. That's it.Cold AC and a great sounding stereo (aftermarket Alpine CD). Sunroof and window lifts work perfectly. Power seats. No rips no tears no stains. Dash is perfect. I have owned several Porsche 911's. My 1981 911sc was charmingly mechanical. My 2002 996 C2 Coupe was really fast. This 1995 993 exhibits qualities of both and in every way lives up to its billing and status among the Porsche faithful and informed collectors. It delivers a truly perfect driving experience and looks drop dead gorgeous doing it. This car is located in the Dallas, Texas area (75088) and because it is listed for sale locally I reserve the right to end the auction at any time per ebay policy. The car is offered as is where is with no warranty implied or otherwise. Pre purchase inspection encouraged by appointment prior to auction end. Ask you questions and obtain necessary approvals and permissions needed to close the deal prior to placing your bid. If you have less than 5 feed backs please contact me through ebay to express your serious intent to purchase this car. I will store the car for two weeks, longer for a fee. I can also arrange shipping for a fee. Thanks and happy bidding...

This auction is for a great looking 1982 Porsche 911sc Targa. This car is complete. It starts, runs and drives, shifts, steers and stops. It lacks power under heavy acceleration. I have too many projects and despite the time and money invested I am ready to bail out on this car. Just to be clear, even though I have seen worse cars on the road I consider this to be a PROJECT CAR!! The Autocheck shows an accident in the '90's and the left front fender is a donor, but rest assured this car tracks straight down the road and sits at a level stance. I have done a lot of work on this car. The battery had leaked long ago and damaged the front pan, but that has been completely repaired using panels from Stoddard. The left side rocker was deformed so it was removed and repaired. The oil lines running along the underside of the car are all in good sound condition. The body is otherwise solid but in my opinion needs a paint job. There is very little rust on the body; all easily addressed when prepared for paint. Specifically there are three small areas where the paint has bubbled (see pictures below): 1. Where the targa bar meets the body on the driver's side. 2. Right front fender where the weather strip under the trunk lid lies. 3. At the windshield reveal, passenger side. The fuel system was completely overhauled; the tank removed and cleaned, the two center tunnel fuel lines, the fuel pump, fuel accumulator and fuel filter have been replaced. While working in the tunnel the shift linkage was overhauled with new bushings and coupler. The distributor, plugs and ignition wires are new. It has an aftermarket MSD electronic ignition and coil which may or may not be contributing to the problem. I just don't know why the car lacks power but that's where it sits. The next thing I was going to try was to remove the leaky valve covers and adjust the valves, but this car keeps falling down the queue of projects. As already mentioned the car runs and drives and as such I can say that the clutch and gearbox indicate no issues. There is no reason to suspect any issues with the rotating assembly and based on the condition and mileage I think a top end refresh is the worst case scenario to put this car in good driving condition. An experienced Porsche guy may just as likely know how to apply enough of the secret stuff to get it going strong again without so much time and effort. The Bilstein shocks look and feel fresh; green and dry. The front brake pads and rotors are new. New ball joints up front and stabilizer bushings all around. The Fuchs wheels are nice with good center caps. Tires are dry rotted but hold air so the car can be driven on and off the transporter. The interior is in excellent shape and, the dash has no cracks or separation, the door cards are in great condition. I jumped the gun and had the seats redone (there are before and after pictures of them below). The carpet and mats are all clean, plush and unfaded. All the electrics work. Window lifts are strong and smooth. It has a working aftermarket alarm system. No working radio. The AC is there, the compressor kicks on but has not been charged or evaluated. The Targa top is good, has a few nicks but keeps the car dry. The car does not have a tool kit or compressor, it does have the spare tire and jack. Other than the receipts supporting the parts I purchased there is no documentation on the car. This is a very cool little car that I fell head over heels for when I bought her. Air cooled Porsches, even a project like this one will not lose value. It just needs some love. As a Porsche aficionado (a.ka. snob) I have expressed my opinion of the need for a paint job, but I will grant that there would be no shame driving it in its current cosmetic condition; it is by no means a beater car. The truth is I found and bought a 54,000 mile '81 911sc Targa show stopper that needs nothing, hence I am dumping the ole grey gal here out of displaced affection. This car is located in the Dallas, Texas area (75088) and is sold on a clean ARIZONA title. Because it is offered for sale locally I reserve the right to end the auction as per ebay policy. It is being sold as is where is with no warranty implied or otherwise. Texas or Arizona buyers may be subject to sales tax, title and registration fees and or State inspection. I will assist with shipping and will store the car for a reasonable period of time. If your feedback level is less than 10 please email me with a statement of serious intent. Please get clearance to buy from your wife, banker or whoever pulls your strings prior to placing bids. This photo shows the seats before I started working on the car: This photo shows the seats redone as they are now: The console was removed when the shifter linkage was overhauled and the carpet removed for cleaning. Heat and sound deadening material was also installed before the carpet was refitted. These next three photos are close ups of the three minor rust issues on the body (as described above):
