I have a one owner pontiac lemans that was purchased by the original owner April of 1969. I have all the books and documents for this vehicle including the protec-to plate and owners manual. The vehicle had a front end damage in a parking lot which caused the owner to cash out for a salvage title in 1987. He replaced the bumper and grill. If the car is sold out of state a bill of sale may work to remove the branded title. I do have the California title still in the original owners name and the car is registered to drive. I drove it today to take pictures and the car drives very nice. The car has had a repaint to white but the car was originally green. I had the front two bucket seats done this week. The original carpet and headliner are still in the car. The build sheet should be under the carpet.I worked in Fremont were the car was built and we used to put the build sheet under the carpet when installed. This car is a rust free car. A little surface rust on the paint for the poor paint job. Body is very straight with no dents. The trunk still has the original splatter paint in good condition. When the car was hit in 1987, The original owner pulled the body off the frame to paint it. You can see from the pictures that were taken that everything that was black got painted. The front end was completely redone. This car has the 4 barrel being a sprint model with a turbo 350 and 323 single leg rear end and factory rear sway bar. The motor also has been rebuilt and he detailed the engine compartment. This was his wifes car and his car is a 66 sprint 4 speed which he still has today. The car has p/s,auto with console and am radio that still works. New wiring harnesses have been replaced. A car well taken care of. It needs paint and a little TLC. Thanks for looking.
