Have original paperwork and a celebrity pic of it in parade fare. Only selling to make room in garage or I would not consider selling.. PICTURES ATTACHED This Cadillac Eldorado Convertible is in good cosmetic shape and great mechanical shape! With its recent rebuild of the A/C. One switch still needs adjusting but blows cold. The 500 in engine runs like new. Gaskets may need replacing as a minor transmission fluid leak has begun. Radiator and cooling system is solid, tires newer. Some surface rust at bottom of doors(have pics), but only surface rust. Radio works for AM/FM but 8 track player is on the list for repairs. Antenna works but motor disconnected. Not sure why there is also a windshield antenna, but it’s there. One speaker (front right) is being researched for replacement. Dash has no fade or cracks. Leather is good but some wear on driver’s No cracks on interior vinyl. It tracks in a nice straight line right down the highway. Rides like a dream, or the so-called land yacht. Super steady at top highway speeds. Brakes Stops car awesome at highway speeds or down hills and mountains etc.. parking brake works Mechanical new belts and hosesReplaced original alternator Wipers: Motor and switch work fine. I never take it out in the rain so, needs new blades. Convertible Top about 2 years old and. Motor works and/latches tight. Heat and Air Conditioning Air Conditioning: blows cold, converted. Switch behind glove box needs adjusting/replacing. blower / fan works Sound System original radio. Picks up some stations. Thought about putting in a new system, but no. Antenna motor works but disconnected - you could hook this back up also if you like Interior original white leather - look at pictures below dash in really nice shape door panels in good shape all electric windows work door locks work interior lights come ontrunk light comes onOne cut made on rear carpet to check for rust (my request when I bought the car). Dash Lights on dash all work Working correctly: turn signals, high low beams, headlights, brake lights The electric windows make a good seal between the top and the top of the windows, commonly there is a huge gap here that takes lots of ( already done ) work to make sealed up and "right" Trunk Original carpet but some wearsolid metal floor...no rust newer rubber Exterior Original Harvest Yellow for 1973 very solid body underside and all over the usual two rust areas below rear window panel above trunk lid hinges (both sides). Covered when painted. Never rusted thru. the panels are straight, the paint is a year old and looks great A few chips during the drives I've taken it on. I touched them up nicely. no dents, no dings the car looks great, is shiny etc. there are some flaws from use but very minor, even by my inspection standards doors all close and open correctly from inside and outside. All locks work. Have a number of spare keys. stainless and bumpers are in good shape, not perfect, but very nice could use a polyurethane filler piece where the gas cap is. Cracking is taking place but the rest of the body filler was replaced when the car was painted., I just want to pick apart now, not once you have the car in your driveway ASK ME ANYTHING!!!!!!! I have had this car for around eight months and the car is amazing. No mechanical faults or cosmetic damage. No leaks, bags, anything. Starts first time, every time. I have also always kept this car in underground or covered parking. The interior is black leather. The seats are in amazing condition with no marks, tears or rips. It is ready to drive away. It has four good tires and a clean title. Along with that, I have cleaned, serviced and maintained this car regularly. It has 39,000 miles on the odometer, so it has 20,000 miles under Volkswagen's Powertrain warranty, too. Mary Jo is for sale!! I am the second owner of this garaged gorgeous Rivera. I have used it for my daily driver for 3 years logging 49k miles on it. I bought it from a little old lady in Oceanside with 60k original miles on it, her name was Mary Jo. She is well cared for and has a fresh ac system, new radiator, plug wires. This was the personal car of Brad Ripley (Porsche, Stoddard, 356 NLA) and was professionally built by Stoddard. At the time of the modifications to the car it was repainted to a high standard but that was many years ago. Today the paint still show well overall but has some flaws as seen in the photos. To my knowledge there is no significant rust on this car just some areas of minor surface rust as seen in the photos. The interior retains factory dashpad, door panels, carpeting, headliner, guages, seat belts, A/C etc. All electronics and lights function with the exception of the clock (works but doesnt keep accurate time), odometer (stopped recently) and the tach is starting to 'bounce'. The steering wheel, shift knob, and seats were changed in favor of more performance oriented units. The factory engine was replaced with a 1972 911T case built to 2.8L twin plug specifiction. The transmission is a type 911 dogleg 5 speed and contains 'Aiport Gears' which has a tall 1st gear and shorter tighly spaced 2nd-5th gears. Suspension and brake components were upgraded accordingly and are in keeping with the rest of the build. The car runs and drives very well with great power, excellent handling, and road manners. The car tracks straight and exhibits absolutely no creeks, rattles, or other abnormal noises.
